Phoning Tilda

Just a couple of cards I made today. I am totally loving being on holiday and being able to craft whenever I like. I have done so every day so far! May have to slow down at some point as I'll be so inundated with cards I won't know what to do with them all (although I'm probably there already :P)

Anyway, this first card is for Viva La Verve's Sketch Challenge #2 for July, Just Magnolia's Challenge #166 to make a birthday card, Cupcake Crafts Challenge #202 to use something to do with the ocean and for Color Throwdown's Challenge #202 to use these gorgeous colours, which were just perfect for a mermaid card! And look at the gorgeous DSP I found in the Sweet Shop pack from SU - perfect waves don't you think?!

My other card is for SC395 for the sketch and ColourQ's Challenge #147 to use these colours. I saw a card somewhere in blogland this week using this stamp set and realised that I hadn't used it at all since I got it, so out it came. I added some Background Basics: Medallions to the top as I thought they were kind of similar to the dial of the telephones and then the swirly border from Little Bitty Bird as it just looks like telephone wires (although it's been a very long time since I had a phone with curly wires LOL). Love the bright, tropical feel to this one!
