Tempted by Turquoise!

Just a couple of cards I made this week using Tempting Turquoise!

This first card is for Create with Connie and Mary's Challenge #215 for the sketch and for Friday MashUp's Challenge #73 to use Midnight Muse, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Suede and/or make a thank you card. I was completely inspired by the quilting strips on the cushions in the photo and attempted to replicate it but most of it got covered up, but I think you can see where I was going with it. Will definitely try this idea again as it looked gorgeous before the cover up.

And my next card is for ColourQ's Challenge #151 to use these colours (perfect ones for a Hallowe'en card!) and for Mojo Monday Challenge #255 for the sketch. I used my new WPlus9 A Pocketful of Halloween set and they fit perfect with PTI's Back Pocket Basics! Love the idea of all the bats flying out of the pocket. I did try to emboss the pocket stitching with Pumpkin Pie, but as I have no pumpkin/orange powder I tried inking with Versamark first then with the Pumpkin and then embossing, but it didn't come out in orange at all, so must find some orange EP soon!

And here's my card.

And that's all for this post! Thanks for dropping by!
