Some SUO Projects

Just a couple of Pool Party cards I made today...

This first card is definitely my last Christmas card of the year. I hadn't organised my cards and pressie for my ironing lady when she came just before Christmas and I was at the beautician's getting my nails done when she came, so I didn't manage to give her her gift and card. Unfortunately I won't be seeing her until tomorrow so this is a belated Christmas card really....

This card is for Friday MashUp's Challenge #90 to use snowflakes and/or Whisper White, Pool Party, Midnight Muse and Basic Black (I don't have an awful lot of Basic Black but it is there!), F4A149 to use the  emboss resist technique and for Waltzing Mouse's Sketch Challenge #129. This is the last ever Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge and I will be sad to see it go as I have loved so many of their sketches, but times are a-moving and I wish Claire and everyone on the DT all the best for 2013!

My next card is for Create with Connie and Mary's Challenge #232 to use this gorgeous colour combo  I still haven't bought any silver glimmer card from SU yet, but I will be ordering some in the new year when I order my Sale-A-Bration goodies, so for now I have done the same as last time and used my heat 'n' stick powder to add some silver glitter round the edges! I do love all the sparkle on this one!

And here's my blingy card!

And my last project is one I did just before Christmas but never got round to blogging it. I had to make one of those gorgeous decorations from the front of the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue, but red and green are not really my colours for Christmas - I tend to do pinks, white and silver. I pulled out some lovely pinks and my Crumb Cake tulle and off I went. Although it did take a while to make, following some instructions I found on the 'net, I had lots of fun making it and think I will make a couple more to add to my box of decorations ready for next year!

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
