This first card is for Friday Mash Up's Challenge #89 to make a CAS card with heat embossing (don't think mine qualifies for CAS but it definitely has lots of heat embossing on it), for Cupcake Crafts Challenge #222 to make a Christmas card and for Papertake Weekly's challenge to use white and snowflakes. I think it qualifies for this one as there's plenty of white and plenty of snowflakes, they're just not all white ones! I pulled out my new Iridescent Ice embossing powder for this one (we just got this one in our SU catalogue this year) and it gives such a lovely amount of sparkle!
My next card is for A Passion for Papertrey's Inspiration Challenge to be inspired by the photo below (I used the colours, twine and buttons for my inspiration), for Just Add Ink's Challenge #148 to just add Christmas and Make It Monday's Challenge #95 to use glittered layered images. These stockings took ages for the glitter to be the right shade of red. I used my Xyron sticker maker at first but the glitter only gave a light coverage and the stockings were just not bright enough, so I covered them with lots of TomBow and more glitter and after leaving them to dry for ages, they came out perfectly - messy, but perfect!
And here's my very glittery card.
My final card for today is for SC415 for the sketch, CC405 to use Soft Suede, So Saffron and Baja Breeze and for La-La Land Crafts Challenge to use snow and snowflakes. I love these colours together - not traditional for a Christmas card but they work perfectly for snowflakes and Marci! I made this fun little scene using the trees from Little Bitty Bird and used some more old DSP up as well!
And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by! Will be back tomorrow with even more Christmas cards!
