In The Pink Challenge #62 Love or Hearts

Good morning and welcome to my post for the In The Pink Challenge blog. This fortnight we are challenging you to a very seasonally appropriate challenge - use the theme Love or Hearts. Easy one right and it doesn't necessarily have to be a Valentine's Day card either as you will see with mine. But the one and only other rule we have is that your project must include LOTS OF PINK!

Here's my card using the gorgeous Valentina from The Paper Shelter (one of my other DTs) - isn't she just adorable?! Lots of stamped hearts on the paper and a banner of hearts above her head make it a sweet little thank you card rather than a Valentine's one. And how about that sentiment? Couldn't have found a more perfect one!

Recipe:

Stamps: Valentina from The Paper Shelter, Background Basics: Hearts & Heart-2-Heart #3 both from Papertrey Ink, Earth Angel from Waltzing Mouse Stamps

Papers: Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Something Borrowed DSP & In Colors 2010-12 DSP Stack (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Copic X-Press It Blending Card

Inks: Blushing Bride from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Blushing Bride Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Filigree Border Die & Heart-2-Heart #3 Die both from Papertrey Ink, Clear Wink of Stella, Dainty Rectangle Frame Dies from Sue Wilson @Creative Expressions

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20, R30
Hair - E50, E51, E53, E55, E57
Jumper & Shoes - RV10, RV11, RV13
Eyes & Bow - E53, E55, E57
Skirt - W1, W3, W5, W7
Wings - W00, W1, W3

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the In The Pink Challenge blog and check out all the other gorgeous cards from the DT and why not join in the fun whilst you're there too?!
