This fortnight's challenge over on Inspiring Inkin' is to use the Split Negative technique with a side of twist of using 3 embellishments.
The basic idea of this technique is to stamp the same image once on darkstock and once on light cardstock using the opposite colour for the ink. I used Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White with the new Whisper White Craft Ink. This is such a fabulous ink! You cut the image in half in the same place on both images and pair opposite coloured halves together. Easy peasy! As well as splitting the whole image I also did the centre as well for a different effect. I just love how this has turned out.
Spot anything else that's new on this card? The Medallion stamp is new as well as the WW craft ink and peeking out at the top is the new WW satin ribbon. This is such a gorgeous quality.
Keep looking back on my blog as I will be showing off even more new stamps as the next few weeks go by.
