A bit manic this week

I'm a bit behind in my blogging this week as I've had a crazy week. Not really sure why but it is always a rush to get last minute things done before the summer holidays are over and I have to go back to work.

Anyway here's just a few bits I've done this week. This first project is for 3 Papertrey challenges, with the main one being A Passion for Papertrey's Polka Dots challenge. I also used Papertrey Peeps #4 to CASE one of Nichole Heady's cards from the February/March releases and I CASED this card of Nichole's. I also made a little matching picnic basket to hold a gift for Papertrey Peeps #5 template challenge. I completely missed my friend birthday from the other week and will see her back at work on Wednesday so I made this matching set for her belated birthday pressie. I just need to go and get some pretty purple jewellery to go in the box as well now.

Recipe:

Stamps: Everyday Button Bits, Polka Dot Basics II

Papers: Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon, Stampers Select White

Inks: Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon, Whisper White (SU)

Accessories: Beautiful Blooms Dies #3, Vintage Cream felt, Lavender Moon Buttons, Picnic Basket template, Plum Pudding Swiss Dots ribbon, Bookmark Die

My next one is another PTI card with a bit of SU added. This one is for the Sketch challenge on SCS #295 and the colour challenge #285 to use Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, with a dessert option of using a doily. I loved the doilies that Betsy Veldman made on her blog here so thought I would have a good at doing one myself. I don't quite have the same stamps as Betsy but I think it still looks kinda doily like.

Recipe:

Stamps: Take Note, Boxes, Bags & Tags, Giga Guide Lines, Fancy Flourishes, Mega Mixed Messages all from PTI

Papers: Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP

Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Old Olive

Accessories: Theater ribbons pack (retired), Scarlet Jewel button

My next card is late for the challenge but hey ho, that's nothing new for me really! This one is for Just Magnolia's #69 Let's Get Sentimental challenge, Just Us Girls #47 to use Lime, Hot Pink and Teal and for Mojo #55.

Recipe:

Stamps: Trendy Trees from SU, Tilda with Lolly from Magnolia, Signature Greetings from PTI

Papers: Taken With Teal, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Sweet Pea DSP, Copics White

Inks: Gable Green, Taken With Teal, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Pink ribbon from stash, Pink glitter brads from stash, Cuttlebug Corner die

And my final is a lovely bright colour combo from Stacey for her Curtain Call #44 to use Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Whisper White. As I haven't got the inks in the new colours I had to improvise and embossed in white on the cardstock instead and loved how the flowers came out! This one is also for Sweet Stampin's #40 for the sketch.

Recipe:

Stamps: Petal Pizzazz, Well Scripted

Papers: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Pink Flamingo DSP

Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Versamark

Accessories: White embossing powder, Sizzix Butterflies Die, Circle Nestabilities, Glitter brads from stash, D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder

And that's all from me today folks! It's Virtual Stamp Night this weekend over on SCS, which as you all know I love doing! I'm not hosting a challenge this time - I missed the thread asking for hostesses - duh! So I will be playing like the regular people this time LOL Gonna be a busy crafting weekend - exactly what I need before I go back to school next week!
