I love getting all my Hallowe'en stuff out at this time of year and just looking at all the cute stamps I have. I went to Hobbycraft yesterday (the UK version of Hobby Lobby I guess but not as good) and picked up some cute Halloween hanging chipboard decorations to paint, along with some acrylic paints and I can't wait to get started on those this week.
This first one is for Free For All's #30 to use a punny stamp, which I did for my sentiment and for old Mojo #71.
Recipe:
Stamps: Trick or Treat Trio from Elzybells, Tiny Treats: Halloween and Friendship Jar Fall Fillers both from PTI
Papers: Black Glitter card, Purple glitter paper, Copic White cs, Pumpkin & Aubergine Trick or Treat DSP pack
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: ribbon from Bobbin
My next one is for Just Magolia's #73 to use lace and I used Mojo #53 for the layout, but I did miss of the circle as it didn;t quite look right with my image being so large. This is another stamp that never seems to quite work for me - not sure why but I can but try eh?!
Recipe:
Stamps: Tilda with Spider from Magnolia, Friendship Jar Fall Fillers from PTI
Papers: Lavender Lace, Gable Green, Copic White, Spider DSP from Aodrn It, Halloween Words DSP from Sandylion
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Black Lace from Cuddly Buddly, Green button from stash, Spider brad from Making Memories, Purple gems from Hero Arts
My next one is for Papertrey Posse's Blog Hop #4 which I missed on the actual day so am catching up now. There's too much excitement over the release for me to remember to make a card for it - will have to try harder next time! This month's bloghop was to use either a really old set or a very new one - well my Hallowe'en stuff was the last PTI stuff I bought so this was my really new set! I used SC297 for the layout and as I added a tag of sorts thought I'd enter it for Papertrey Peeps #16 as well.
Recipe:
Stamps: Tiny Treats: Halloween
Papers: Black Glitter card, Orange Zest, Stampers Select White, Halloween Prints DSP
Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Mat Stack #4 die, Orange Zest Bitty Dot ribbon, Spiderweb velour trim (got this last year but have no idea who makes it!)
And my final Hallowe'en card is my fave from today's and is for Sweet Sunday's sketch #86. I used some of my lovely Basic Gray Eerie papers for this one and love the darker look to them compared to the usual bright oranges, purples and greens I use for Hallowe'en.
Recipe:
Stamps: Halloween Trails from Inkadinkadoo, Happy Halloween set from Hero Arts
Papers: Almost Amethyst, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Basic Gray Eerie DSP
Inks: Almost Amethyst, Basic Gray, Basic Black
Accessories: Circle Nestabilities, Bat brad from Making Memories
That's now 10 out of the 30 Hallowe'en cards I want to send done! So glad there's plenty of time left to make them! And that's all for today folks!
