I only made a few cards today that were for other challenges and not just for the VSN challenges for next weekend. These cards are also for VSN challenges, but as the other challenges I did these for run out before VSN I thought I'd better post them now.
My first card is for Sweet Stampin's Inspiration challenge #51 which was a plate full of Iced Gems biscuits. I used adore these and would eat all the biscuit parts first and then have a bag of icing to crunch on! I took the colours from the little biscuits for my card.
Recipe:
Stamps: Hopeful Thoughts from SU
Papers: Naturals Ivory, Tempting Turquoise from SU
Inks: SU markers in Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, Corner Rounder Punch, Sizzix Beautiful Wings Die, Icicle Stickles
My next card is for Stacey's Curtain Call #55 to use Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango and Chocolate Chip. I also used old Mojo #70 for the layout.
Recipe:
Stamps: You're My Hero from Taylored Expressions
Papers: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Haiku DSP (retired)
Inks: Basic Black, Real Red ink & marker, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Oval Nestabilities
And my final card for today (that I can show you) is for quite a few different challenges: Totally Tilda #9 to make an Icy blue and white Christmas card, Sweet Sunday Sketch #92, Sir Stampalot's Christmas Traditions challenge and Just Magnolia's #80 Anything Goes challenge.
Recipe:
Stamps: Jolly Tilda from Magnolia, Delightful Decorations from SU
Papers: Marina Mist from SU, Silver cs from stash, Copics White cs, Vintage Christmas Ice Princess DSP from Magnolia
Inks: Marina Mist from SU, Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Double Loops Around the Page Punches from Martha Stewart, Sizzix Snowflake Dies, Brad from Papermania, Silver RickRack from stash, Corner Rounder Punch, Icicle Stickles
And that's all from me today folks. Thanks for stopping by. It's VSN next weekend so be sure to come back and check out the 16 or so challenges I'll be doing!
