Sharing on a Sunday

Just a few other odd cards I did this weekend.

This first one is for Waltzing Mouse's Sketch Challenge #53 and CR84FN33 to use red, pink and neutral. I love red and pink together and always reach for the gorgeous Sending Love Speciality DSP from SU for it! This is the inspiration piccy from CR84FN...

And this is my take on it...

Recipe:

Stamps: Fancy Phrases, Frame-It, Faux Fun Circles all from Waltzing Mouse Stamps (I have ordered some new WMS stamps too so I will now be able to do proper doilies!!! YAY!)

Papers: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Sending Love Speciality (retired) all from SU

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pretty in Pink all from SU

Accessories: Real Red Satin Ribbon from SU, Circle Nestabilities

My next one is for Just Add Ink's Challenge #74 which was to choose one of the fancy fold techniques from their blog hop - great idea ladies! I chose the stair step technique from Nikki Spencer's blog. I also used the colours from Color Throwdown's Challenge #148 to use Cameo Coral, Pacific Point and Garden Green - not my favourite combo ever. Cameo Coral is colour I NEVER warmed to when it was a current colour and once I get rid of all my bits of cardstock I will be a happy bunny! (I'm not one for just throwing things away unnecessarily - you never know when a colour challenge blog might give you that colour!). I also use A Passion for Papertrey's Make for the Border Challenge.

Recipe:

Stamps: Botanical Silhouettes, Butterfly Dreams, Simple Circles all from PTI

Papers: Stampers Select White from PTI, Cameo Coral (retired), Garden Green both from SU

Inks: Cameo Coral (retired), Pacific Point, Garden Green all from SU

Accessories: Pacific Point Ribbon (retired) from SU, Simple Circles Border Die from PTI

And my final card for today is for SC339 for the sketch, Cute Card Thursday's Challenge #171 Technology (I think cars count, even it is an 1960s VW Bug!) and Play Date CafĂ©'s Challenge #88. Here's the colour swatch - I took those colours to be Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry and Baja Breeze!

And here's my take on them...

Recipe:

Stamps: Enjoy The Ride from PTI

Papers: Baja Breeze cs & DSP (retired), Poppy Parade, Welcome Neighbor DSP (retired) all from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI

Inks: Basic Black, Crushed Curry (retired) from SU

Accessories: Button from stash, Linen Thread from SU

And that's all from me this weekend folks! Thanks for stopping by. Next weekend I have a fab SU training event with the lovely Monica and Bekka - will be loads of fun!
