The Inspiring Inkin' Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Inspiring Inkin' Sale-a-bration blog hop. Each of us have created some amazing projects using exclusive stamp sets you can earn only during Sale-a-bration for every £45 you spend during January and February. Do contact me to place an order or to book a workshop. Each blog will have the birdcage logo and at the end of the post you will see a link to the next blog on the hop. Eventually you will come full circle back to your starting point. I hope you have a wonderful time on your journey. Please leave comments as you visit, we would love to know what you think of our projects. For those who have joined us from Kerry' s Blog ... WELCOME! For my first 3 cards I have used the lovely Happy Moments stamps set. This set consists of a birthday cake, pile of presents, bird in a cage, 3 flowers and 3 separate sentiment stamps. This is such a great versatile set that can be used for so many different occasions. Recipe: Stamps: Happy Moments Papers: T

Inspiring Inkin' Challenge #17

This fortnight's challenge on Inspiring Inkin' Challenges blog is unfortunately the last one of the year. This challenge is to make a matching set of a Christmas card, gift tag and Box in a Bag. You cn find the instructions for making the Box in a Bag here on Splitcoast Stampers. The side twist is to use one of the new ribbons from the Stampin' Up catalogue and with so many gorgeous ones to choose from, it's going to be hard to decide which. Anyway... here's my set, using up some leftovers from my Christmas Jingle scrapping Kit. I actually had started making the card for a different challenge and then changed my mind about using it, so I went with that colour scheme. And whilst green is not my favourite colour, most of my Christmas cards this year have been red and green, whereas normally they are pink or blue with silver. I made my Box in a Bag slightly taller than the instructions so it measures approximately 7 inches high, a perfect size for adding a box

Inspiring Inkin' Challenge #16

This fortnight's challenge over on Inspiring Inkin' Challenges is to use this photo as an inspiration piece. The side twist is to use some patterned paper as well. Doesn't this cake look yummy - if only I could actually bake something like that?! I made a snowglobe card using my new favourite stamp set, A Holly Jolly Christmas. I love this little Santa - he really is a jolly chap!! This is the side view - you can see the sentiment inside better this way. Recipe: Stamps: A Holly Jolly Christmas, Snow Flurries Papers: Kraft, Whisper White, Merry Moments DSP, Acetate Inks: Whisper White craft ink, Real Red, Basic Black, Garden Green Accessories: Real Red striped grosgrain ribbon, clear EP, Silver glitter from the Fine Galaxy pack
