Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge #12 Anything Fantasy Goes with the optional twist of Angels

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Heart's Quest Fantasy. As always our challenge is an Anything Fantasy Goes challenge, but the optional twist this time is to include an angel on your card or project.

For my card, I used the adorable Sweet Angel from Alicia Bel, whose store has now unfortunately closed down. I went for an icy blue colour combo for her dress to make it feel a bit more wintery and then found this gorgeous snowflake paper, which was the perfect background for her.

Recipe:

Papers: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy & Whisper White all from Stampin' Up, Winter Wishes Patterned Papers from Echo Park, X-Press It Blending Card from Copic

All Things Magical and Mythical #73 Featuring Angel from Alicia Bel

Good morning and welcome to this week's All Things Magical and Mythical post. For today's card I am using the gorgeous digital stamp that I got from entering Alicia Bel's previous Facebook challenge to enter this month challenge, which is to use embossed paper. I don't use my embossing folders very often, not sure why not as I do like how they look, but tend to forget I even have a huge box full!

Anyway...here's my monochromatic card using the only sheet of Powder Pink patterned paper that I have which goes pretty well with the Petal Pink, which I hardly ever use as I find it's not pink enough and not peach enough, but a weird combo of the two!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Angel from Alicia Bel, Tiny Townie Annie The Angel from Stamping Bella

Papers: Petal Pink, Whisper White and In Colours 2017 - 18 DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Petal Pink from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers, Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen

Accessories: Whisper White Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Pearls from Poundland, Lavish Diamonds Embossing Folder from Creative Expressions, Hannah Elise Layering Frame Small from Spellbinders

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R30, R20
Hair - E50, E51, E53
Eyes - B01, B02, B04
Lips - R81, R83, R85
Dress - R000, R00, R01
Shoes & Belt - R81, R83
Wings - C0

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you all again soon! Have fun and stay safe!

Stampers Delights New Release Tutorial

Good evening and welcome to the first of my posts for the new releases from Stampers Delights this month. We are now starting to move into Christmas stamps and this set that I have used today is just adorable! It can be combined with so many other cute stamps and doesn't have to be just for Christmas cards either.

I made a white on white card, which is not something I do very often as I love my colours and my patterned papers, but this one came out beautifully, even if I do say so myself! All the embossing and die cuts give it a fabulous texture and the touches of glitter are enough for some Christmas/winter sparkle!

If you want to see how I made this card, I have a step by step tutorial over on the Stampers Delights blog.

Craft Box Project #1 for March Box

Good Morning everyone and welcome to my first project using the March Craft Box. The Craft Box this time was a little different and very open to interpretation for what to do with the goodies, so I decided to make a love/Valentines canvas to add my wall of canvases. I try to do each one in a different colour and now have a purple one, turquoise one, pink one and a red one. Might go for a neutral colour next time.

I used a mixture of goodies from the Craft Box and some from my own stash and an image from Faery Ink for this canvas. From the Craft Box I used the black and white patterned papers, "forever" Snipart, glass baubles, glitter squares, flowers, leaves, ribbon, heart charms and the resin frame, which I painted in black gesso and then with pearl stencil paste which is also from Craft Box.

Good evening everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new Progressive Challenge at the Art by MiRan Facebook group. This month we have another gorgeous image for you to play along with and if you want to join in then head on over to our Facebook group and check out the pinned post to find out how you can get ahold of her!

And here she is.... I made a heart shaped easel card and used up some old Valentine's papers, but this doesn't have to be a Valentine's card. It could easily be a thank you, a thinking of you or just a general with love card! I attempted to do some ombre colouring on her hair but it didn't quite turn out as I envisaged. I should have had less reds and more pink shades in it I think, but I do like the tone of her hair!

One Sweet Pea October Challenge

Good Afternoon and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge over at One Sweet Challenge. This month we are challenging you to use either Fall Colours (red, gold, brown, green etc) or make a card for All Souls Day, which is a Christian day for remembering departed loved ones.

I chose to use an angel image for my card, the beautiful Hope by Rebecca Sinz and dedicate this card to my lovely teammate, Annie in this difficult time for her. I would post it, but by the time it gets to Australia from the UK it would be nearer to Christmas, so I am sending it via my blog to her! I kept my card fairly neutral in colour except for the roses, which I coloured in yellow to symbolise friendship and caring. Perfect for this card I felt.
