Ink 'n; Splatter Inspiration Post Featuring Strawberry Mice

Good morning and welcome to my first DT inspiration post of the month for Ink 'n' Splatter. The DT theme this month is summer and nothing says summer to me more than fresh strawberries, so I just had to use the adorable Strawberry Fields Mice Stamp Set. I also added various different patterned papers to this card. This was a great way to use up some of those scraps of paper I have left over from other projects.

I used the Postage Collage Die from Waffle Flower, but the mice were too cramped together, so I cut it up so I could separate them a bit more and they worked so much better this way.

Recipe:

Stamps: Strawberry Field Mice from Ink 'n' Splatter

Papers: Real Red & Early Espresso both from Stampin' Up, Christmas Bright, Gingerbread Wishes, Watermelon Lemonade, Happy Summer, Oh Happy Day & Raspberry Crush Patterned Papers all from Ink 'n' Splatter, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Copic Markers

Accessories: Postage Collage Die from Waffle Flower

Copics Used:
Mice - E70, E71, E74, R00, R11
Apron & Jar Cover - G40, G43, G46

And that's all from me for this post today! Don't forget to pop on over to the Ink 'n' Splatter Blog and check out all the other fabulous creations from the rest of the DT this month!

Something Else on Saturday #248 Featuring Donut Days from Taylored Expressions

Ink 'n' Splatter New Release Inspiration Post featuring Cupcake Kitties

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the newly released clear stamps from Ink 'n' Splatter. Dina has released such an adorable collection of animals sharing their celebrations and all involving some kind of yummy sweet treats!

For today's inspiration post, I have used the cute Cupcake Kitties along with the Sweet Celebrations Patterned Papers. I just love the colours in these patterned papers as well.

I always colour at least one cat on a card in the colour of my own who is a Blue British Shorthair so kind of a purpley grey colour.

And a couple of close ups of the cats too... Aren't they just the sweetest?!

Something Else on Saturday #190 Featuring Sweet Treats from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to my Something Else on Saturday post for this week. I am trying to use up some of the digi stamps that I printed ages ago for one of my new year's crafting goals. I don't print as I need them, I just print a big batch in one go as it saves me having to dig the printer out from under the bed every time I want to print something! So this week, I coloured up this cute little cat with his macarons (One of my fave treats!) and made a big 8 x 8 inch card for my work stash of birthday cards!

While hunting for something else, I found a tub of old paper flowers and thought I would use these for a change! It's amazing how quickly us crafters forget things we used to love using once we have something new to use instead! I can't remember the last time I used paper flowers like these! Look pretty though without adding too much bulk to the card as well!
