All Things Magical and Mythical #101 Featuring Gnome More Tricks from Clearly Besotted

Good morning and welcome to this week's All Things Magical & Mythical post. I didn't do one last week as we went out at the weekend and I just didn't have time to craft for my posts for last week! Anyway, I'm back this week with this fun Hallowe'en card using one of my new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted.

I love gnomes/gonks and I love Hallowe'en so I just had to buy this stamp set when it was released! As I always make loads and loads of Hallowe'en cards especially when I start doing my 13 days of Hallowe'en which is really turning into at least 15 days of Hallowe'en this year, I try to make a few flatter ones to post out to my friends!

I always struggle taking photos of slimline cards when they are in portrait position as I have to stand over them while they are laying flat down and then I get a shadow over it. Must find a better way to take the photos!

Recipe:

Stamps: Gnome More Tricks from Clearly Besotted

Papers: Pumpkin Pie & Basic Black both from Stampin' Up, Ghost Town Patterned Papers from Doodlebug, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Pumpkin Pie from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Scalloped Slimline Squares Die from eBay, Apple Green & Ebony Black Crystal Drops & Sugar Plum Glitter Drops all from Nuvo

Devil - R24, R27, R29, R37, R39

And that's all from me for this post! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you all again soon! Have fun!

Something Else on Saturday #226 Featuring Flower Girls Doll #3 from Sherri Baldy

I am really trying hard not to get into Hallowe'en cards just yet as I have my 13 Days of Hallowe'en coming up soon, but if you know me, I love Hallowe'en so much! I find it hard not to do every post in October as Hallowe'en posts!

So as a non-Hallowe'en post, I thought I would use this cutie digi stamp from Sherri Baldy which I coloured up a while ago.

Scene It Sunday #162 featuring Tarde en casita from MMedel Illustrations

Good morning and welcome to today's Scene It Sunday post. For today's card I thought I would make a tag shaped bookmark using this fun set from MMedel Illustrations on Etsy as the one I use at school is getting a bit tatty now! The name, tarde en casita, means afternoon at home according to Google Translate and what a perfect way to spend the day, reading away in a comfy chair with the cat for company!

I decided to go for a pinky-purple colour scheme and love how this one came out. Such a fun scene for any book lover!

Scene It Sunday #161 featuring Plushies in Oz from Clearly Besotted

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday card. I stamped and coloured all these cuties from Clearly  Besotted's Plushies in Oz ages ago, but couldn't quite decide what to do with them. There were too many images to fit on a normal card and even on a DL/slimline sized card, it was too cramped, so I left them for a while. Then today inspiration struck! The scenescape die from Mama Elephant was just the perfect way to showcase them all in one card! Aren't they just adorable?!
