Good morning and Happy Saturday! For today's Something Else on Saturday post, I have pulled an image I coloured a really long time ago for one of Alyce Keegan's Kit & Clowder classes. I think it might have even been a freebie class, but it was so long ago I have no idea! I really need to make time to do them!

Anyway this cutie is Cupcake Marci from La-La Land crafts and I went for a bit of a shabby chic style card - something I love doing but don't do very often!

Something Else on Saturday Challenge #109 Featuring Spring Marci from La-La Land Crafts

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday Challenge post. I have a huge pile of coloured images that I am slowly trying to make my way through and this cutie has been sat in this pile for an absolute age! Probably from last summer at least! I love to just sit and colour but don't always need or have time to add the images to a card.

I decided to do a different shape today instead of my usual square cards and pulled out one of my Dutch Doobadoo card templates - love this flag one as it is still quite big and has enough space to add lots of layers and embellishments!

#Mermay Challenge 5 - Shell

Hello and welcome to my #Mermay Challenge #5. Today I set myself the challenge of using a mermaid in a shell and combined this gorgeous mermaid from La-La Land Crafts with the shell and fish digis.

I attempted to do the first class from Sandy Allnock's Underwater Scenes class straight onto this image, but I'll be honest, I really should have practised it before trying it out on this card as I really didn't like the way the waves on the top of the sea came out. The colours didn't look right and then I had to blend, blend, blend until I got it looking ok. I'm still not 100% happy with it, but I guess it's ok. Going to have to go back and practise that class again!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Sitting Mermaid Marci & Shell & Rocks all from La-La Land Crafts, Mermazing from My Favorite Things

Papers: Pool Party & Crisp Cantaloupe (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Happy Easter!

Good morning and Happy Easter to those of you celebrating today! I don't do the religious side of Easter, but love to make Spring and Easter themed cards as I love all the cute stamps and digis that are always around at this time of year (and bunnies are one of my favourite animals too!).

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post! I'm still making Christmas cards like mad and now have delivered most of them! Just the close family ones to take round now and then I "think" I'm all done! I actually printed and stamped so many Christmas sets this set, that I probably have enough already for next year. I won't say that I won't buy any more Christmas or Winter themed stamps, but I probably shouldn't!

Sweet November Fairy in the Field!

Good evening and welcome to my post today. I have used the adorable Flora Sweetbrier digi stamp with the Tree #3 both from Sweet November Digital Stamps, available from 7 Kids Crafts and also added some other toadstool and flower digi stamps.

When I first put this scene together, I just wanted to make a big image to colour to practise various techniques and I really like how it came out. However, when it came to making something with it, the colouring was so big that it just about fit on a card and therefore I kept it really plain and simple (so unlike me!).

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Flora Sweetbrier & Tree #3 both from Sweet November Stamps, Whimsy Mushroom Stamps from La-La Land Crafts, Flower Fairies #6 from Wee Stamps

Papers: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip & Myths & Magic DSP (All Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Fantasy Friday #28 Featuring Faerie Marci from La-La Land Crafts

Good morning and welcome to this week's Fantasy Friday post. Today I am sharing one of my favourite fairy images from La-La Land Crafts and used the mushrooms and flowers from the same digi stamp set as well.

I did find it hard to find some patterned papers to match the colours of the image for this one. I tend to colour as and when I can and just randomly choose colours without thinking about what I will put with it sometimes! I think these colours work ok though!

Nurse Marci Says Get Well Soon

My very close friend Jayne is very very ill at the moment and I am going to see her on Thursday as she finally feels up to having visitors after being ill for almost 3 weeks with pneumonia. I just had to make her a get well soon card using the adorable Nurse Marci from La-La Land Crafts. Isn't she just adorable?!

I don't have any dies for get well cards and I couldn't be bothered to dig my cameo out and faff around with that for a couple of little ones, so I made a clipboard using one of my dies instead.

This card is also for

In The Pink Challenge #85 Anything Goes

Good Morning and Happy New Year from the In The Pink Challenge Blog. Our first challenge of the year is an easy one - Anything Goes with lots of pink of course! I chose to use the gorgeous Rose Fairy from La-La Land Crafts for my card. I used to use these images all the time, but over the years I have moved onto other companies I like and have kind of forgotten about La-La Land images. Having had a big sort out of my crafting stuff over the Christmas holidays, I rediscovered so many things I had forgotten all about, including these gorgeous stamps!
