I created this fun scene using various digi stamps from The Greeting Farm and had loads of fun colouring it all up. Good morning and welcome to this week's All Things Magical and Mythical post. This week, I have used another gorgeous image from The Greeting Farm, Anniversary Fairy which was a free image I think a few years back to celebrate The Greeting Farm's birthday.

The Greeting Farm Guest Designer Post #3 & All Things Magical and Mythical #112 Featuring Mermaids!

Good morning and welcome to my final guest designer post for The Greeting Farm for this month. Thank you so much to Rosemary for inviting me to join you all again. I have thoroughly enjoyed making all my cards and projects with these fabulous stamps!

For my final project, I have made a mermaid hanging using three of the gorgeous mermaid digi stamps - Coralina Merbean, Leela Merbean and Mermaid (I think this one must be retired as she is no longer in the store, but I have her saved from 2015!) I found these MDF boards in a box the other week, which I had completely forgotten I had. They turned out to make the perfect project for this post!

I painted each board with a combination of baby blue and pearlescent blue acrylic paints before adding lots of seaweed, coral and shell die cuts. I joined the boards together with some aqua ribbon and added a different ribbon to the top before adding my mermaids on top with foam pads. I also dotted some Nuvo Glitter drops round them as well. The sentiment comes from the Mermaids Galore kit.

And some close ups of each mermaid...

Good morning everyone and welcome to my second guest designer post for The Greeting Farm. 13 Days of Hallowe'en #13 Featuring Hocus Pocus Kit from The Greeting Farm

Good morning and Happy Hallowe'en! Welcome to my final post for the 13 Days of Hallowe'en. Today I have made a cute little canvas board using the flying witch and some bats from the Hocus Pocus Kit form The Greeting Farm. My intention is to make a series of these with different seasons on and this will be my Hallowe'en one. I will make a Christmas/Winter one at some point as well.

Anyway...Here she is. I used one of my cloud stencils and inked up the sky using my Distress Oxide inks, before adding a moon die cut. My white Posca pen ran out and the nib actually fell out, so I thought I would use my Crystal Drops for the stars but that just absorbed the Distress Ink and they turned purple! But I still love how it all came together!

Recipe:

Stamps: Hocus Pocus Kit from The Greeting Farm

Papers: Smoky Slate from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers, Wilted Violet & Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks both from Tim Holtz

Accessories: Mini Cloud Edges Stencil from My Favorite Things, Simply White Crystal Effects from Nuvo, Canvas from The Works, Full Moon Dies from Lawn Fawn

Copics Used:

The Greeting Farm Guest Designer Post #3 Featuring Picnic Digi Set

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my final GDT post for The Greeting Farm. This week, I thought I would round my month off with a fun card for the summer. Summertime is the perfect time for a get together with friends and having a picnic in the park, so I used various images from the Picnic digi stamp set to create this cute scene.

I merged various images together in Word to layer everything together before colouring with my Copic markers.

You can see in this one the glossy accents I added to the glass, jug and wine bottle for a touch of shine!

The Greeting Farm Guest Designer Post featuring Anya in Japan

Good morning everyone and welcome to my first GDT post of the month for The Greeting Farm. I am so super excited to have been asked to join the TGF team as a guest designer for this month! I have been a huge Greeting Farm fan for years now and have a huge collection of older red rubber stamps, clear ones and digis, so choosing what I wanted to make was really hard! In the end I chose one of my newer sets that I hadn't yet used!

This cutie is Anya in Japan and I wanted her to look like she was under an arch of these gorgeous pink cherry blossoms. I stamped the cherry blossoms branch several times and then added some single ones to fill in the gaps. I popped Anya up on foam pads after fussy cutting her out.

I love adding fancy borders like this to my card base as it gives the card such a nice finish. And I always try to add some small touches of bling to my cards too.

The sentiment comes from the same stamp set as well and means thank you in Japanese, so this will be one of my thank you cards for my team at work for the end of the school year.

Scene It Sunday #149 featuring Just Friends from The Greeting Farm

Good morning and Happy Sunday! I hope you have all had a great weekend so far. Mine's been very hot! Sure it will rain soon as the UK seems to only have a few days of heat and then rains come! Might take some of the mugginess away though!

Anyway today's card features the fab Just Friends set from The Greeting Farm which I combined with some of their other scene builder sets to create this huge birthday card! It all went brilliantly until I got to the wall in the background and the sentiment smeared when I coloured over with my Copics despite having printed it hour and hours before! So I did what I could to try and fix it. It's not terrible, but it's not great either and I think even if I had reprinted the sentiment you would have still seen the smears! I live and learn!
