Scene It Sunday #199 Featuring Micey's Mailbox from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to today's Scene It Sunday post. This week I am sharing a card I made for a work colleague using this cute digi from Di's Digi Stamps. I am trying to use images that I have had for a while but not yet used and this is one I have had for a little while now.

I am trying to also use up some of my old Stampin' Up patterned papers, so am using ones that I probably wouldn't normally use. However, I do think these colours go perfectly with this image - I always colour up my images before making my card, so sometimes I have to hunt through all my papers finding ones that match the colours I have used. This one was an easy match though!

This week I have used this cute golfing mice image from Di's Digi Stamps, which I have made into a large 70th birthday card for one of my work colleagues' relatives. 13 Days of Hallowe'en #10 Featuring Hallowe'en Mice from Di's Digi Stamps

 

Good morning and welcome to my 10th day of my 13 Days of Hallowe'en! I can't believe how quickly Hallowe'en has come around. Although we have decorated the house, got our treat bags ready for any trick-or-treaters, bought the pumpkins and I've now finished all my cards, I still feel like I still have quite a bit to do. Something Else on Saturday #190 Featuring Sweet Treats from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to my Something Else on Saturday post for this week. I am trying to use up some of the digi stamps that I printed ages ago for one of my new year's crafting goals. I don't print as I need them, I just print a big batch in one go as it saves me having to dig the printer out from under the bed every time I want to print something! So this week, I coloured up this cute little cat with his macarons (One of my fave treats!) and made a big 8 x 8 inch card for my work stash of birthday cards! 

While hunting for something else, I found a tub of old paper flowers and thought I would use these for a change! It's amazing how quickly us crafters forget things we used to love using once we have something new to use instead! I can't remember the last time I used paper flowers like these! Look pretty though without adding too much bulk to the card as well!

I am now starting to make a few Easter/Spring themed card to hand out at work with my little Easter egg gifts when we break up for our Easter holidays at the end of March. I got this one from Di's Digi Stamps a while ago, but absolutely love this image - I would so love an Easter egg shake like this! Full of sticky gooey-ness! 

I kept the card fairly simple as the image is so big and dominant anyway! Just a few layers of brightly patterned paper and a little non-Easter sentiment as I have a few team members who do not celebrate Easter as such, but I don't like to leave anyone out!

Scene It Sunday #65 Featuring Pumpkin Wendy from Di's Digi Stamps

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday. I decided to go for a cute pumpkin but non-Hallowe'en based card for this week's post. I have a couple of work friends who don't celebrate Hallowe'en, but I don't want them to be left out when I give out my Hallowe'en cards, so I always try to make some more Autumn based cards and this image is just perfect for that! 

I coloured a simple background to the image and kept the rest fairly plain too, just adding a sentiment and some patterned paper behind her.
