Thank Yous

Just a few thank you cards I made today. I always need thank you cards towards the end of the school year, so just added a few to my stash.

This first pair of mini cards are for Friday MashUp's Challenge #61 to make a scrapling card sized 1 1/2 x 4 1/4" and to use scraps. An unusual size - I've never made one of these sized cards before - but they really are cute. A perfect size just for a little note. My scraps come from my Bali Breeze DSP which retired a few years ago. I don't have much of this pack left, but I love all the colours and as a complete hoarder I keep every little scrap piece. Ideal for challenges like this.

My next card is for Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge #100. I bought some of the new Papermania stuff in Hobbycraft the other day. I know I know, but I rarely go in there and I needed some acetate sheets for my PTI stamps and all the new Papermania stuff was near the tills. I really like this set of papers - all lemons, creams, greys and browns and bought the papers, ribbons and buttons! They make for a nice, soft card, don't you think?!

And my final card for this post is for Mojo Monday Challenge #243. I just pulled out a random paper pad and came up with this up - love this deepish red, grey and white combo!

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by.

Daffodil Delights

Just a couple of other cards, this time both with Daffodil Delight in them.

This first one is for Card Patterns Sketch Challenge #165, Papertake Weekly's Cute Cute Cute Challenge (I think my new Gorjuss stamp is cute cute cute!) and Friday MashUp's Challenge #58. I used the colour combo for my card, but I don't know anyone who has been in the forces other than my Grandad and it's not something he ever likes to talk about to be honest!

And my final card for today is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #3 for May and ColourQ's Challenge #136 to use these colour. I really like the little touches of bright yellow and orange against all the greens in this one.

And here's my card.

And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by.
