On White Ice

Another new Papertrey Ink stamp set for you - this time it's On Ice. I ummed and argh-ed over getting this set last Christmas, but must have picked something else, so went for it again this year! I'm really loving it so far and can see so many quick and simple cards being made using it.

This card is for Charisma Cardz Challenge #46 Christmas, The Ribbon Girl's All White Challenge and Make It Monday's Challenge #141 to use heat and stick powder with glitter. I glittered my ice skates and they are just the perfect amount of bling!

And here's my card...I really do struggle with all white cards so the tiny bit of silver helped!

Bootiful Stampin' Up Cards

Just a couple of Stampin' Up cards I made today using my new Bootiful Occasions stamp set. I love this set - such fun to play with.

This first card is for Create with Connie and Mary's Challenge #225 for the sketch. I pulled out lots of new supplies for this one to make a funky Christmas card. The Labels framelit was far too big though so I ran it back through my Big Shot a couple more times, moving the die down a bit and it worked perfectly for what I wanted. Shame that the Dazzling Details glitter glue makes the ink run though. I think I'll do those boot tops again tomorrow.
