Scene It Sunday #159 featuring Flock Star from Heffy Doodle

Good morning and welcome to today's Scene It Sunday post. After the heatwave we have had over here in the UK this week, I thought these cute flamingos having a beach party was quite appropriate! I bought this set a while ago after watching Jasmine Oliver make a card with them on a Heffy Doodle live, but never got round to using them until today!

I stencilled in the sky and the waves, but the waves were too hidden by the sand, so had to add some die cuts waves over the top so you could actually see the sea! Really should have planned it out better LOL Never mind, I love the end result!

Scene It Sunday #119 featuring Garden Friends from Hello Bluebird

Good morning and happy Sunday! I can't quite believe we are already almost halfway through November! Just where is the time flying to?!

For today's card I have used the birds from Hello Bluebird's Garden Friends stamp set. These are completely unavailable over here in the UK - literally nowhere sells them at all, but I was lucky enough to buy several sets from a company in Germany who used to stock them. Unfortunately they haven't had any new ones for years now, so I can't buy any more unless I want to buy them in very large quantities direct from Hello Bluebird. We so need a stockist here!

Good morning and Happy Saturday! I do love a weekend, don't you? No work, no Zoom lessons, no answering countless work emails, no planning or teaching....I tend to spend most of my Saturdays and Sundays colouring and crafting as a way to relax and refresh, so I am ready to start work again on Monday morning! Scene It Sunday #34 Featuring Special Delivery by Lawn Fawn (and many others!)

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! I bought the Special Delivery set from Lawn Fawn a little bit after it came out with the intention on using it to make a Valentine's Day card for my other half, but then used something completely different on his card. As I had stamped and coloured all these images, it seemed a shame not to use them anyway as they are not just for Valentine's.

I stamped, coloured and cut various animals from 6 different Lawn Fawn sets and created a cute scene of the owl delivering the post to all the critters living in the woods! I think it came out super cute! I added some die cut grass, the Lift-The-Flap trees and used a clouds die for the leaves of the trees.

Scene It Sunday #28 Featuring A Winter's tail from Digi Doodle Studio

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday! Boy what a first full week it has been here in the UK. We have now all put back into a country wide lockdown and all schools are closed, so I had to plan lessons like crazy and set up all my different groups on Zoom ready to start teaching lessons on Wednesday and although it's not something I have ever done before, I really enjoyed doing it. It was lovely seeing the children again after so long!

Anyway..my card for today is another Christmas card that I never got chance to make before the event and as I didn't actually have enough to send or give out this time, I thought I would carry on making a few more until I got bored with doing them, but there's so many cute images and stamps in my stash, it's hard not to use them!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #342 - Letters or Numbers

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week the challenge is to use letters or numbers, one I actually found really hard to do as I don't put ages on a birthday card unless I am making it for a specific birthday and I have none coming up. I had a hunt through all my stamps and finally managed to find a sentiment with a 2 in it instead of the word to, so used that!

I used the adorable Ducklings stamp and added a lot of background colouring to it so it looked like the ducklings were going for a walk round their pond. I love how this one came out, but it did take a while to colour! Worth it though!

This card is also for

Whimsy Stamps New Release - Say Cheese Sentiments

Good Morning and welcome to my first new release post this month for Whimsy Stamps. I am using a large combination of stamps for this project but mostly using the new Say Cheese Sentiments - a great set for adding sentiments to scrapbook pages as well as to cards and other projects.

I combined the photo strip images with 3 other penguin images - Penguin Teacher (which is also a new release this month), Penguin Easter Bunny and Penguin Lucky Shamrock. I just simply cropped and adjusted each penguin head to fit inside the white boxes on the photo strip. I love this idea and can't wait to use it again!
