I Love Colouring In

I made just 2 cards today both involving colouring in. I used to love colouring in as a child and had colouring books and velvet art posters galore and I have never grown out of it. I can't draw for toffee, but I can colour and I am slowly getting better with my Copics. My plan for this summer holiday is to perfect my colouring as I know it's not as good as I want it to be and there's still so many techniques to learn.

On to the cards...This first one is for Just Magnolia's Challenge #167 In the Country and for Totally Tilda's Challenge #52 Summer Fun. I think running around in the fields picking flowers is definitely having some summer fun in the country, don't you think?!

My next card is a do-over from one of yesterday's cards. This one is for Sweet Stop's Sketch Challenge #169 using another of my new birthday stamps. This time it's Pink Lightning by Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I much prefer this card to yesterday's awful flower thing!

Yellow, blue and pink!

Just a couple of cards I made today using yellow, blue and pink colour combos.

This first one is for La-La Land Crafts Challenge to make a circle card and for Play Date Café's Challenge #142 to use these colours, which I interpreted as Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun and Regal Rose. I love this Mod Marci stamp and she fits perfectly into the Circle Nestabilities I used.

And here's my card.

My other card is for Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge #139 to use bright, summery colours. I bought 8 new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps this week so I had a hard time choosing one, but settled on this cute little fairy Isabelle and used some retired SU papers for my colour combo.
