The Craft Box January Steampunk Box Project #2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another project from me for this month's Craft Box. The theme this month is steampunk and whilst I love to look at other people's steampunk projects, I struggle with these, so have gone for a much easier one this time!

I used an old image from The Stamping Chef, (sadly they have closed now, but are running as Illustrations by T) which isn't strictly a steampunk image, but I thought she went really well with the theme. I kept to a general gold and brown colour scheme and added lots of the embellishments, ribbon and papers from the box as well as adding some of the micro beads to my big metal flower. Love those things, but they get everywhere! LOL

This card is also for

Flower Fairy by Some Odd Girl

Good evening and welcome to a random post from me! Some Odd Girl are having a DT call and after many discussions with a lovely friend of mine, I have decided to have a go and enter it! I have used many stamps from Some Odd Girl in the past mostly due to the amount of design tams I was on last year and the lack of time to play with non DT images, but now I have dropped several of them and another one finishes soon, I have more time to play with a variety of companies stamps!

For my card I thought I would use the adorable Flower Fairy (fairies are always a weakness of mine!) and I used one of my favourite colour combos too- pink and light green. Lots of pretty die cuts, flowers and ribbon of course completes the card!

Good Morning and welcome to my new release DT post for Sherri Baldy. This time I am showcasing the gorgeous Scan0124 Moon Dance. Isn't she just beautiful?! I really couldn't decide on which papers to go for as I didn't have much that matched the blue of the sky that I coloured, so instead I went with colours that coordinated rather than matched and really love how the image pops out on this one!

Many Thanks Stamp Anniething

Good morning and Happy New Year! Let's all hope that 2017 is a better year for us all than 2016 was. I have a few New Year Intentions (I don't call them resolutions as I am not trying to resolve anything, but intend on doing different things. This way I change my mindset and hopefully won't feel like a complete failure if I don't achieve them!).

Mine include to read more than last year (not necessarily a set number of books, but more than the 65 I read in 2016), to colour more just for fun and to complete more of my Kit and Clowder classes. I would love to hear what yours are.

Anyway onto my card. I did this one just for fun! Great start to my new year intentions right?! This image, from Stamp Anniething was a freebie in the Kit & Clowder Facebook group ages ago and I only just got round to colouring her in and although she is meant to be a representation of Anna from Frozen, I chose to colour her in my colours as I am not a fan of that film. I usually love all things Disney, but that film is pants in my opinion and just shows what a spoilt brat Elsa is! LOL

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Brooke as Anna from Stamp Anniething, Say It With Style from Clearly Besotted

Papers: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake & Fresh Prints DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Accessories: Coastal Cabana Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Fanciful Trim Die & Rhodes Die both from Creative Expressions, Banner Die from Joanna Sheen, Diamond Stickles, Pearls from Crystal Stickers

Eyes - B12, B16, B18
Dress - BG53, BG45, BG57, BG49
Cape - R32, R35, R37, R39

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop back later on for my crafting 2016 post and check out all my faves from the year!
