Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Post - Christmas Mix 2 Sentiments

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Whimsy Stamps for this week. I decided to make another quick and simple Christmas card to add to my stash! I am usually really behind with my Christmas cards and end up never having enough so hopefully this year by starting a few early I won't be running around like mad on Christmas Eve's eve finishing the last ones off.

Anyway I used the Christmas Mix 2 Sentiments set along with the Christmas Tidings patterned papers and just added some ribbon, snowflake die cuts and some pearls to finish it off.

Recipe:

Stamps: Christmas Mix 2 Sentiments from Whimsy Stamps

Papers: Cherry Cobbler & Chocolate Chip both from Stampin' Up, Christmas Tidings Papers from Whimsy Stamps, White card from stash

Inks: None

Accessories: Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Shimmering Snowflakes Dies from Memory Box, Pearls from Papermania

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration Facebook group and check out all the other fabulous creations from the DT.

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge will last for 2 weeks to give the DT members a short summer break, so we won't be commenting on your entries this time. The challenge is the ever favourite Anything Goes.

I went for a real quick and simple card this time and used the adorable Lil' Cowboy along with the matching backing paper that comes with the digital stamp. I tend to make my male cards fairly CAS (the only time I can do CAS cards really), but I think it didn't need any more anyway!

Recipe:

Papers: Pumpkin Pie & Soft Suede both from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Tender Angie

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps. You may have noticed that this week the DT are all using the same digi stamp,  The Tender Angie. We did this a while back and loved all the different colours, styles and techniques we used, so Kym, our DT leader, decided to challenge us to do it again.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #302 - Dies and/or Punches

Good Morning everyone! Welcome to my post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge for you is to use dies and/or punches on your project. I have to admit I rarely use punches anymore other than my Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page ones occasionally and I always forget to use those too!

Anyway here's my card using a border die and the gorgeous Josephine. I made a larger than usual card using a 7.5 inch square card blank. I think I am loving this size so much more than my usual 5.75 inch square as I can get so much more on them without it feeling too cramped. I might just have to buy a few more of those card blanks for my stash!

I used lots of goodies from one of my Crafteezee Collection boxes this time and love the vintage feel of it. As I am leaving my school in a few days time for good and moving to a new school in September, I need quite a few thank you cards for all my lovely friends at work, so this one is for one of those friends!

Recipe:

Stamps: Josephine from The Paper Shelter, Sentiment Sampler from Paper Smooches

Papers: Pink Pirouette & Crumb Cake both from Stampin' Up, Card Blank from Every Crafts A Pound, The Sofiero Collection papers from Maja Design, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Inks: Pink Pirouette from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Bon Voyage Old Swedish Lace Die from Magnolia, Doilies from Martha Stewart, Everything else (Ribbon, Lace, Flowers, Charm, Parasol, Heart Pearls, Metal things!) all from Crafteezee Collection, White Gesso

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20, R30
Hair - E71, E74, E77
Eyes - B14, B16

Through The Craft Room Door GDT

Good Morning! I was lucky enough to win a challenge at Through The Craft Room Door back in June and was asked if I wanted to be a guest designer for an upcoming challenge. Of course I said yes and today is the day!

The challenge is an anything goes one as always and this time the sponsor is my old DT mate Annette from Sheepski Designs. I got to use the gorgeous My Fair Lady digi stamp for my card. Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge - Monochromatic Colours

Good Morning! I just managed to squeeze this card in on time as I was totally convinced that July 1st was on Sunday, not on Saturday! Our challenge this month is to make a monochromatic project and I went for the traditional black and white and shades in between colour scheme.

I used the gorgeous After Midnight for my card and used lots of layers and scraps of patterned papers on a large 7.5" square card. I kept this one fairly flat and it is going to a lovely friend of mine through the post.

Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Post - Daddy Lion

Good evening. I have been meaning to write this blogpost for well over a week now and haven't found the time until tonight and am writing this as I am half asleep. I have been shattered this week and spending 2 1/2 hours after school outside at the school summer fete aggravating my sciatica didn't help either. I really need to go back to the docs to get it sorted, but I never have time to get there!

Anyway for my inspiration post for Whimsy Stamps this week, I used the adorable Daddy lion which was a freebie not so long ago for Father's Day.
