Creative Coloring Classes with Rhea #2 Molly's Winter Friends

Good morning! I am a member of the Passionate Paper Creations group on Facebook and the owner Rhea Weigand has just started her won online colouring classes. The first project class was only $6 and was a cute Christmas/Winter card project, so I thought I would join in! If you haven't seen Rhea in action, this is your chance to do so - she is just hilarious and so natural. I loved the fact that she wasn't perfect - she made mistakes with her colouring too and showed how to fix them! Something I always need to know as I am terrible for staying in the lines! I also loved the fact that this class was a complete project and not just a colouring class. There were lots of new techniques that I learnt here and love the finished card! I was going to give it away and then changed my mind - I want to keep this one for myself! This card is also for Crafty Friends Challenge #74 For A Girl/Lady Sweet Stampin' Challenge Anything New (New colouring class, image and techniqu

Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Summer Goddess

Good Morning and welcome to my last Ching-Chou Kuik   inspiration post of the year! I cannot believe how fast 2017 has flown by and all the changes, both good and bad, that have happened this year. Let's hope that my good luck from the end of this year carries on through to next year! Anyway on to my card...I used the gorgeous Summer Goddess for a pretty thank you card this week. I found these butterfly papers in the Range not so long ago and haven't used them until today so my colours are more or less matching to those. Recipe: Stamps: Summer Goddess from Ching-Chou Kuik, Think Big Favorites #15 from Papertrey Ink Papers: Wisteria Wonder, Soft Suede, Whisper White & Lost Lagoon (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Butterfly Papers from The Range, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place Inks: Wisteria Wonder & Lost Lagoon (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers Accessories: Lost Lagoon Ribbon (Retired) & Adorning Accents Edgelit

Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Post - Christmas Accessories Snowman

Good Morning and welcome to my weekly inspiration post for Whimsy Stamps . This week I am using a stamp from November's release and to be honest a set I didn't use at all during November (How naughty of me!), but I was looking through all the recent sets to find a different image to use for a girly pink Christmas card and this snowman was perfect. He is from the  Christmas Accessories  set. I did realise when making this card that I have NO pink Christmas papers at all! How on earth did that happen? I probably have every other colour I would want, but no pink. Need to grab that Snow Pink papers set from the Whimsy store! Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - So Long

Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post this week for Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog . This week I am using the gorgeous So Long and went for one of my favourite colour combos to make a sweet thank you cards ready for all those people who need a thank you after Christmas. The DT were challenged to add buttons to their projects this week and I dug out some old retired Stampin' Up ones. Buttons are not a thing I generally use on my cards unless it's for a masculine card, but I do like these little flower shaped ones. Shame I don't have many left and they are retired now too. And here she is... Little Robin Redbreasts

Good Morning and welcome to another random post form me! Today I have used the sweet Red Robin set from Clearly Besotted along with the Into The Woods Again stamp set for the trees.I actually used my new Tim Holtz Stamping Platform to line the trees up and I have to say it is a fabulous tool. Not really sure how much I will use it as I tend to stamp and cut out sentiments and images, but it is really easy to use when I need it! Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge for December - Birds

Good Morning and welcome to my DT Challenge post for the new Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge. This month our challenge is for you to use birds on your project - any kind of bird really! You could use penguins or robins for this time of the year, or you could use one of the gorgeous images from Ching-Chou Kuik that uses a range of birds. You can find all her bird images here . I used the gorgeous Dark Lilies for my card to make a birthday card that I will be needing very shortly! I haven't done a completely pink card in absolute ages so thought I'd best do one last one before the year is out! Polkadoodles Challenge Week #49 Anything Goes

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from Polkadoodles . This week, as always, the challenge is Anything Goes. I used another of those gorgeous images and papers from the  Octavia Frosted Winter Collection and decorated a gift bag to make my Christmas gift wrapping a bit easier. (I hate wrapping presents as I am pretty rubbish at it, so I much prefer putting them in some tissue paper inside a pretty bag.) This image is Frosted Spines - how cute is that sweet, little hedgehog?! The sentiment is also from the same collection. There are so many fabulous sentiments and other embellishments included in this huge collection! The Paper Shelter 7th Anniversary Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop. This hop is in celebration of The Paper Shelter reaching their 7th Birthday on December 8th. This hop will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part. The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a "BIRTHDAY/ CELEBRATIONS" theme, which I know is extremely popular! If you have landed here from Patsy's blog then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commentator a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. I decided to use the adorable Emily for my card. Love her sweet face! I have to say it

Sherri Baldy My Besties Enchanted Christmas Fairies Letter to Santa IMG 770

Good Morning and welcome to my post sharing one of the gorgeous new images from Sherri Baldy's My Besties Enchanted Christmas Fairies collection. This image is just adorable and is called Letter to Santa! I just love it! The snowflake sequins are actually iridescent, but came out pink with the camera's flash, so they look weird in the photo, but much better in real life. Faery Ink Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae

Good Morning and welcome to another of my Faery Ink posts. I had a completely different project planned for this week, but fell in love with November's One Day Fae Giveaway from last week so changed my plan. If you missed her as the One Day giveaway, you can find Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae here in the etsy store. I decided to go a little more vintage than usual and used some patterned papers that I got free from a craft show I went to last month. I used my snow globe stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and kept it fairly simple as this shape of card cannot take too much weight as it flops over! A completely different colour combo from what I would normally use (gold is not a colour I often go for), but I really like it! The actual card base was white, but it didn't look right with the patterned papers, so I sponged Tea Dye Distress Ink all over it and it looks much better I think! Whimsy Stamps New Release - Penguin Carollers and Christmas Wish Sentiments

Good Morning! I cannot believe it is December already and with that it is also the last digital release for Whimsy Stamps of 2017! Today I am sharing with you an adorable image called Penguins Carollers, designed by Crissy Armstrong. These penguins are definitely one of my fave collections that Crissy draws and I think we can all agree they really are the cutest, most adorable penguins around!
