Creative Coloring Classes with Rhea #2 Molly's Winter Friends

Good morning! I am a member of the Passionate Paper Creations group on Facebook and the owner Rhea Weigand has just started her won online colouring classes. The first project class was only $6 and was a cute Christmas/Winter card project, so I thought I would join in!

If you haven't seen Rhea in action, this is your chance to do so - she is just hilarious and so natural. I loved the fact that she wasn't perfect - she made mistakes with her colouring too and showed how to fix them! Something I always need to know as I am terrible for staying in the lines!

I also loved the fact that this class was a complete project and not just a colouring class. There were lots of new techniques that I learnt here and love the finished card! I was going to give it away and then changed my mind - I want to keep this one for myself!

This card is also for
Sweet Stampin' Challenge Anything New (New colouring class, image and techniques learnt)

Faery Ink Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae

Good Morning and welcome to another of my Faery Ink posts. I had a completely different project planned for this week, but fell in love with November's One Day Fae Giveaway from last week so changed my plan. If you missed her as the One Day giveaway, you can find Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae here in the etsy store.

I decided to go a little more vintage than usual and used some patterned papers that I got free from a craft show I went to last month. I used my snow globe stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and kept it fairly simple as this shape of card cannot take too much weight as it flops over!

A completely different colour combo from what I would normally use (gold is not a colour I often go for), but I really like it! The actual card base was white, but it didn't look right with the patterned papers, so I sponged Tea Dye Distress Ink all over it and it looks much better I think!

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Ophelia Holly and Bows Fae from Faery Ink, Reindeer Games from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Papers: White card from stash, Gold Mirror card from Dovecraft, Patterned Papers from Crafting Live pack, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Accessories: Real Red Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Snow Globe card Art Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo

Green - G24, G46, G28

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the Faery Ink Blog and check out all the other fabulous things that Amanda posts on there too.
