The Paper Shelter Challenge #324 Birthday Card

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter . This week our challenge is for you to make a birthday card and for mine I have used the adorable Monique . I really love a blue and brown combo and these patterned papers were a favourite of mine when they were released by Stampin' Up many many years ago. Shame I am almost completely out of them now - I have just a few small scraps of the blue left and a bit of the Crumb Cake sheet, but a few more of the vanilla and grey patterns so will have to use those up sometime! Recipe: Stamps: Monique from The Paper Shelter, Say It With Style from Clearly Besotted Papers: Midnight Muse (Retired) & Bella Bleu DSP (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Card base from Craft Fair, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place Inks: Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers Accessories: Midnight Muse Ribbon (Retired) & Crumb Cake Tulle Ribbon (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, F

Faery Ink Mermaid Birthday Besties

Good morning and welcome to another inspiration post from me for Faery Ink. I am using the gorgeous Mermaid Birthday Besties digi stamp to create this fabulous seashell shaped card. You can also find this image in the Mermaid Birthday Party Pack . After playing around with the layout for a while I finally decided to make a little bit of a pop up on the bottom mermaid so that she would stand up when the card is opened. I also added some seaweed and fish die cuts along with a couple of sentiments. I had lots of fun making this card and love how it came out! Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Post - Rainbow in Eyes

Good Morning and welcome to my latest inspiration post for Ching-Chou Kuik. This week I am sharing an older image that I had previously printed and had never used called Rainbow in Eyes . I also used some of my older patterned papers to try and use them up a bit (my craft area is in our bedroom and is more than over flowing so I need to try and use some stuff up quickly so I can actually put all the new stuff I keep buying away properly!) The Paper Shelter Challenge #322 - Shape it Up

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from the Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is called Shape It Up and we do NOT want to see any square cards this time, but any other shape instead. I used one of my CreaLies dies to cut the base of my card and made a wintery one using the gorgeous Ice Skates image. I love absolutely tons of the new Christmas and Winter themed images that Veronica released towards the end of last year and am trying to use some of them to make a few Christmas cards here and there. Good Morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Ching-Chou Kuik . This week the DT were challenged by our DT leader Kym to use spots and stripes - a nice easy one! I chose to use the gorgeous Dahlia and an old favourite colour combo of mine using Stampin' Up colours of Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. Love this green and purpley-red together. A Christmas Thank You With Santa's Hat Gabbie

Good Morning and welcome to my first Faery Ink post of the year. I always like to make thank you cards for people who gave my Christmas gifts and as I always tend to colour more Christmas themed images than I need I try to make Christmas themed thank you cards too. I loved this image of Gabbie in her Santa's hat, but didn't get round to making her into an actual Christmas card, so made a thank you card with her instead. She was actually one of the freebies that Amanda gave away in the  Faery Ink Facebook group this year. I went for an almost all white with touches of gold colour combo and love how the red hat pops against all the white. Ching-Chou Kuik January 2018 Challenge - New Beginnings

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the brand new challenge from the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog . Our challenge this month is called New Beginnings and looking at my card you may be thinking that a Christmas card doesn't really signify a new beginning, but it is more of a new intention. I was still rushing around making Christmas cards at the last minute again so I thought I would a new year's resolution of making at least 1 Christmas card each month. At least that way I will have a few piled up ready for the holiday season this year! I have used the gorgeous Northern Blessing on this card and added lots of glitter to all the snowflake die cuts. Polkadoodles Challenge - Thank You

Good Morning and Happy New Year! Welcome to the first Polkadoodles challenge of the year as well. This one is a really easy one for you - make a thank you project! I'm sure you will need to make some thank you cards for all those lovely Christmas gifts you received if you celebrated it! i know I did! Anyway here is my card using a hexagon shaped card base. I have to admit I really didn't think about how I was going to decorate these bases when I bought them from a craft fair in November; I just liked them as they were different, so it took lots of folding and trimming the patterned paper down to get the right-ish shape and size. I don't think it looks too bad though, but might try something different next time. I used the adorable   Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Just For You  for this card as I thought a bouquet of flowers is always a lovely way to say thank you! I used patterned papers from the  Winnie Wednesday Halloween Collection  as well. I thought the colours in these

New Year, New Calendars

Good Morning! I usually make calendars for my work colleagues every year and decided this time to go with a fairly simple design in various colours using some of the images I have already coloured up. This first calendar uses an adorable new release image from Sherri Baldy's New Besties collection, img818, which will be in the shop very soon! The next one uses the oh so Pretty in Plaits from All Dressed Up. Next up is sweet, little Molly Fairy from Conie Fong. My penultimate calendar uses the stunning Faery Ink's Autumn Rose Belle of the Ball. And for my own calendar I used the gorgeous June Fairy in my fave pinks and brown from Simply B Stamps. I'm not going to list all my resources and Copic colours used on these calendars as it will take me hours to type it all up, but if you really do want to know email me! These calendars are also for Fabrika Fantasy Challenge #16 New Beginnings Love To Scrap Challenge #105 Anything Goes
