The Paper Shelter Challenge #324 Birthday Card

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is for you to make a birthday card and for mine I have used the adorable Monique.

I really love a blue and brown combo and these patterned papers were a favourite of mine when they were released by Stampin' Up many many years ago. Shame I am almost completely out of them now - I have just a few small scraps of the blue left and a bit of the Crumb Cake sheet, but a few more of the vanilla and grey patterns so will have to use those up sometime!

A Christmas Thank You With Santa's Hat Gabbie

Good Morning and welcome to my first Faery Ink post of the year. I always like to make thank you cards for people who gave my Christmas gifts and as I always tend to colour more Christmas themed images than I need I try to make Christmas themed thank you cards too.

I loved this image of Gabbie in her Santa's hat, but didn't get round to making her into an actual Christmas card, so made a thank you card with her instead. She was actually one of the freebies that Amanda gave away in the Faery Ink Facebook group this year.

I went for an almost all white with touches of gold colour combo and love how the red hat pops against all the white.

This card is also for

At least that way I will have a few piled up ready for the holiday season this year!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Thank You

Good Morning and Happy New Year! Welcome to the first Polkadoodles challenge of the year as well. This one is a really easy one for you - make a thank you project! I'm sure you will need to make some thank you cards for all those lovely Christmas gifts you received if you celebrated it! i know I did!

Anyway here is my card using a hexagon shaped card base. I have to admit I really didn't think about how I was going to decorate these bases when I bought them from a craft fair in November; I just liked them as they were different, so it took lots of folding and trimming the patterned paper down to get the right-ish shape and size. I don't think it looks too bad though, but might try something different next time.

I used the adorable Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Just For You for this card as I thought a bouquet of flowers is always a lovely way to say thank you! I used patterned papers from the Winnie Wednesday Halloween Collection as well. I thought the colours in these ones went really well with the colours I used to colour the image and were ones I already had printed.

This card is also for

New Year, New Calendars

Good Morning! I usually make calendars for my work colleagues every year and decided this time to go with a fairly simple design in various colours using some of the images I have already coloured up.

This first calendar uses an adorable new release image from Sherri Baldy's New Besties collection, img818, which will be in the shop very soon!

The next one uses the oh so Pretty in Plaits from All Dressed Up.

Next up is sweet, little Molly Fairy from Conie Fong.

My penultimate calendar uses the stunning Faery Ink's Autumn Rose Belle of the Ball.

And for my own calendar I used the gorgeous June Fairy in my fave pinks and brown from Simply B Stamps.

I'm not going to list all my resources and Copic colours used on these calendars as it will take me hours to type it all up, but if you really do want to know email me!
