Fantasy Friday #5 featuring Fairy Freebie from the Greeting Farm

Good morning and welcome to this week's Fantasy Friday post! This week I am sharing a really cute digi image that The Greeting Farm sent out with their newsletter last month. I actually printed her much bigger than I thought, so she really does take centre stage on this card, but she is adorable, so I can get away with it!

Quite a plain, not heavily layered card from me but I actually follow a sketch challenge for once and there were not many layers to it!

This card is also for

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Post

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps this week. I have used the gorgeous Polka Dot Pals Eloise, which is a fairly new release and you can find her here!

I wanted to make a fancy fold card this time as I tend to get stuck in ruts and do similar style cards when I am short on time, but being on holiday at the moments means there is no rush to get things done! I can spend a little more time on my cards at the minute, but I have been back to work this week to set my classroom up ready for when the children come back next week! I think I am more or less ready! Just need to choose my first day back outfit!

This is the card closed!

And open!

And a close up of the image!

Stamping Bella Butterfly Girl Bess

Good morning! I decided to join in with the Stamping Bella Challenge on Facebook this month for the very first time and the challenge is to create a scene. I already had this cute Butterfly Girl Bess coloured up so thought I would fussy cut her out and add her to a coloured background. I used some of the techniques from various colouring classes I have done to create the hills, clouds and sky.

Just a shame that the glitter glue I used went all funny halfway through - it does look a bit better in real life though!

This card is for

Fantasy Friday #2 Featuring Giselle by Nikki Burnette

Good morning and welcome to another of my Fantasy Friday posts! I loved Nikki Burnette's images and I printed this one off to a roughly A5 sized image. I took me a lot longer than usual to colour it because of all the different elements as well as the size, but I do love how it came out!

Not sure what I am going to do with her yet, but I think I might frame this one, rather than add her to a card or anything.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge #195 Anything Goes

Good morning! I am hoping that this post goes live while I am away spelunking in the Peak District (exploring caves to you and me!) I didn't realise there were so many caves to explore up here, so we're spending a week here going through heaps of them. Stuff like this fascinates me and one of the ones we're visiting has an underground boat ride through some old flooded mines. Hope I don't get too claustrophobic down there!

Anyway on to my card for this week's Anything Goes challenge from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I used the gorgeous Jr Hatter Cherry for my card along with the reveal wheel from Lawn Fawn which I have been dying to use!

I also took photos of the other sentiments on the wheel...

The super sentiment didn't work as well as you can see the letters from the words next to it, but as a spinning sentiment is works ok I guess.

This card is also for

Kit & Clowder Classes Catch Up

I am currently on my 6 week summer holiday and boy has the past 2 weeks flown by! I spent a lot of the first week shopping and colouring! This past week I haven't had as much time to sit and colour or craft and definitely haven't had the chase to blog anything until Friday!

Anyways...here's some of my colouring that I did for some of the Kit & Clowder classes that I pay for every month, but hardly ever get round to doing! Naughty naughty me! Some of these were done a while ago (probably in my last holiday back in May), but I haven't blogged them so thought I would just add them all here!

This first one is from February 2018's class... Flowers are not my thing at all, but I really like the shine on these ones!

This one is from March 2018. Really pleased with this all except the sky which I could not get to blend very well, but still looks ok, I think.

The next one is from April 2018's class. Really pleased with this one, even the mice's fur, which I always struggle with!

And finally this one is from the members' free class For The Boys. Not overly happy with the sleeves on the shirt - I think they need to be darker, but overall really liked doing this one.

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Inspiration Post - Polka Dot Pals Petunia

Good morning! Apologies that this post is late this week, but I have had a personal problem going on this week and I didn't have any crafting time during the week as I had planned originally, but I am now catching up on everything!

For this week's inspiration post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I have used the adorable Polka Dot Pals Petunia for this card, using some of my favourite colours to colour her up! I couldn't find a sentiment in my huge pile of stamps that had this sentiment (I am sure I have one somewhere though!), so I used an alphabet stamp to spell it out instead and actual think I prefer it this way!

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Polka Dot Pals Petunia from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Labeler Alphabet from Stampin' Up

Papers: Crumb Cake & Fresh Prints DSP (Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth card from That Craft Place, Card blank from stash

Accessories: Real Red Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Stars Edge Punch from Martha Stewart, Flowers & Stamens all from Wild Orchid Crafts

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the Little Miss Muffet Stamps and Inspiration group on Facebook and check out all the other fabulous creations from the rest of the DT for this week and why not join in our Anything Goes challenge on the blog as well?!

Fantasy Fridays #1 Blanche the Butterfly

Good evening! As I love all things fantasy related I have decided to attempt to do a weekly post using some of the fantasy stamps that i own. Now that I have dropped some of the design teams I was on I have a bit more free crafting time, so I can finally make use of them all rather than sitting unopened in their packets!

This week I have made a birthday card for my very best friend Michele, who loves all things purple. She has now received this card, so I can show it without worrying about her seeing it! I added lots of sparkle to this one with my Stickles and used some of the butterflies from the border punch as little accents in the corners too.

It's not the best photo as I was in a rush to take it before heading out to meet the birthday girl for a coffee and cake date!

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Blanche the Butterfly from Stamping Bella, Fairy Tale Mermaid from Clearly Besotted

Papers: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Brights DSP & Subtles DSP all from Stampin' Up, Super Smooth Card from That Craft Place

Inks: Highland Heather from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Gorgeous Grape Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Flowers, Berries & Stamens all from Wild Orchid Crafts, Lace, Lace Butterfly & Charm all from Crafteezee, Baker's Twine from The Works, Diamond Stickles, Butterfly Scallops Punch Around The Page Set from Martha Stewart

Copics Used:

Brown - E44, E47, E49
Dark Purple - V15, V17, V09

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
