Something Else on Saturday #16 Featuring Donut Treats from Mama Elephant

Good Morning and welcome to my Something Else on Saturday post this week. Today I am sharing this cute stamp set I bought a while ago and just coloured up for the first time! This is Donuts Treats from Mama Elephant - aren't those mice just adorable?! Not sure I want them in my doughnuts (donuts!) though. Something Else on Saturday #14 Featuring It's Your Birthday from The Greeting Farm

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday Post! This week I am sharing one of my new stamp sets from The Greeting Farm. You can't really buy these stamps over here in the UK, especially not the new releases as there only seems to be one stockist who never gets them in any more 😢 so I have to order directly from The Greeting Farm. With import costs and shipping, I only order once in a blue moon as it can get very pricey, but I had a discount code, which basically paid for the shipping and got this set and a couple of other smaller ones!

Anyway here is my macaron filled birthday card! I couldn't decide what to do with the background as it looked a bit plain, even after inking it, so I thought I would add lots of "confetti" using my Nuvo Drops! Love how it came out!

Scrapper's Delights New Release Chibi Schoolgirl Jill

Good evening and welcome to my DT post for the new releases from Scrapper's Delights. This  month I am using the cute Chibi Schoolgirl Jill image.

Image may contain: drawing

Being a teacher, this image reminds me a lot of myself back in my early days of teaching carrying home piles and piles of books to mark. Now, 17 years later, I have learnt how to manage my marking time and hardly ever take anything home to mark!

Anyway...I used Jill for a teacher card for one of my partner teachers, who will finish her trainee year this year and will head on into her NQT year in September. She has doing amazingly well training on the job for the past two years, so I thought a little card would help celebrate her final coursework and observations.

This card is also for

The Paper Shelter Challenge #386 Birthday Boy

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter this week. Today our challenge is called Birthday Boy, wo we would love to see all your male themed birthday cards and projects.

Now a lot of people say that they find male cards hard to make, but I think they are probably easier than female cards as they tend to be more simple, less embellishments and less frills and die cuts. I used the fabulous Swag for my card and what a perfect image this one is for a teenage boy card! I just used some patterned papers and then die cut my sentiment twice, once in green and once in turquoise to mount one behind the other. Nice and simple and fairly quick to make too.

This card is also for

Recipe:

Stamps: Swag from The Paper Shelter

Papers: Marina Mist, Always Artichoke & Tempting Turquoise (All Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Just For Men Patterned Papers from Crafter's Companion, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty
