Butterflies and flowers...

I seem to have a butterfly thing going on this weekend in my cardmaking! I do like butterflies though - they are just so pretty, but cannot abide moths! They are so hairy!!! LMAO

Anyways my first card is for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday Challenge #4 to use fun foam (I found an entire pack of A3 sized sheets in a huge range of colours tucked at the back of a load of my stamp boxes. No idea when I bought this but it looks pretty old!). I also used Papertrey Princess Leah's challenge to use a frame but no sentiment (I ended up using a very similar layout to Leah's as well, so must have subconsciously CASEd her card - thanks for the inspiration Leah!) and Totally Hues #3 to use Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores. (I am SOOOO happy to have found a PTI colour challenge blog!)

Recipe:

Stamps:  Butterfly Dreams, Mat Stack 1 Collection both from PTI

Papers: Orange Zest, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Stampers Select White, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics DSP all from PTI

Inks: Bermuda Bay (retired) from PTI (My Hawaiian Shores ink is so pale that I just can't use it now! I so need PTI to bring out their new inks soon!)

Accessories: Mat Stack 1 Die, Doily Details Die, Signature Series: Buttefly Die, Large Scalloped Border Die, Orange Zest Buttons and Ribbon all from PTI, Fun Foam from stash

My next butterfly card is for Mojo #180 and Paper Pal Arts challenge #83 to use Baja Breeze, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake - the exact colours used in the gorgeous Elegant Soiree pack!

Recipe:

Stamps: Framed Wishes, Beautiful Kindness both from Verve, Dot Spot from PTI

Papers: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Elegant Soiree DSp all from SU

Inks: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede both from SU

Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Baja Breeze Ribbon (retired) both from SU, Doily Details Die from PTI, Icicle Stickles

My next card uses both butterflies and flowers! This one is for Sweet Sunday's Sketch Challenge # 107, Papertake Weekly's Anything Goes and add old Challenge (my old is the retired colours, DSP and ribbon), and CC49 to use Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow and Almost Amethyst.

Recipe:

Stamps: Bliss, So Happy For You both from SU

Papers: Sage Shadow, Almost Amethyst, To The Nines DSp (all retired), Whisper White all from SU

Inks: Almost Amethyst, Sage Shadow (both retired), Chocolate Chip ink and marker all from SU

Accessories: Chocolate Chip Ribbon (retired), Scallop Trim Punch both from SU

And my final card for this post is for Truly Scrumptious' Challenge #52 for the sketch, Just Magnolia's Challenge #96 Anything Goes plus glitter (OK I only used a teensy tiny bit of glitter on the candles, but it still counts right?!) and CC312 to use Marina Mist, Certainly Celery and Rose Red.

Recipe:

Stamps: Cupcake Collection from PTI, Tilda Carrying Birthday Cake from Magnolia

Papers: Marina Mist, Certainly Celery both from SU, Copics White, Pink DSP from Magnolia, Blue Flowered DSP from Kaisercraft

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Primas, Roses from Papermania, Gold Glitter Glue

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
