VSN Challenges D, E & F

This is my next post for this weekend's VSN Challenges - I did 14 out of the 15 so will be doing lots of posts to get them all uploaded on here!

Challenge D was to create a card or project that using something that you would find in the sky. I combined this challenge with Taylored Expressions Sketch #154 and Color Throwdown's Challenge #182 to use these colours:

And here's my card for this challenge. Thought I would do a more masculine card with these colours for something different. I didn't have any buttons in Riding Hood Red so I made my own using 3 layers of cut cardstock and some 3D gloss on the top - they almost look like real buttons, don't they?!

Challenge E was to make a sympathy card. I really dislike making these types of cards (who doesn't!), but I tried to keep it simple and combined it with Play Date Café's Challenge #122 to use these colours:

And here it is. I couldn't quite decide if the first colour was black or dark grey, but as I only really have one grey and it's dark I went with black! The ink looks so much more smudgy in the photo than it does in real life - no idea why the photo makes it looks so bad. It's much more blended than this. I didn't want to use So Saffron cardstock as I wanted a paler colour so inked up a bit of Confetti White after stamping the flowers and sentiment.

Challenge F was to build a card for your favourite spring birthday girl! I combined this one with Waltzing Mouse's Sketch Challenge #88. I think these colours are girly enough and I have doilies, glitter, ribbon and flower shaped buttons so should be enough, don't you think?!

And that's all for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by. All my other VSN challenges are on the next few posts!
