Triangles...

Just a couple of cards I made today with triangles on...ok so one of them has banners on, but they are triangular shaped!

This first one is for Mojo Monday #249 for the sketch (and did you see I won last week's Mojo Monday challenge! First time ever! Woot! I picked Bloom & Grow as my winning set!) and CC383 to use Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette and the new Raspberry Ripple, which we haven't got over here yet so I used Rose Red instead and Friday MashUp's Challenge #67 to use a banner or flag and/or make a matching envelope.

My next card is for SC393 for the sketch and for Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #132 to use the photo on their blog as inspiration. I took the colours red, green and white and the red flowers for my inspiration, but I really am not overly happy with this card. First off I don't like the sketch that much and then I bodged the colours! I used Riding Hood Red ink, not Cherry Cobbler like the cardstock (they live in the same drawer together and I just grabbed what I thought was Cherry Cobbler without checking - duh!)! I didn't notice until I had stuck the borders on the white triangular piece and couldn't be bothered to do them all again as it took so long to get the edges right in the first place. But I thought I would share it anyway in case I don't get chance to do another one tomorrow.

And that's all my triangular cards for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by!
