Making on a Monday

Just a couple more bits and bobs I made this morning. Making the most of my time off before I have to start getting back into school mode once more.

This first card is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #3 for August and CR84FN61 to use these gorgeous colours. I usually use Crumb Cake for tan, but fancied a change and thought Soft Suede would work just as well and you know what? I actually prefer Soft Suede with the turquoise instead of the Crumb Cake.

And here's my card.

My next card is for The Greeting Farm's Sketch #27 although I did miss off the sentiment panel at the bottom as it wouldn't fit lol. I made this for my new partner teacher whom I'm meeting up with to do planning  tomorrow and as she's new to the school I thought it would be nice to give her a little something. I just used some new patterned papers I bought last week and matched to them and how I just LOVE this paper pad!

And here's the matching Post It Note Box I made for her too. It's basically the same as the one I made myself on this post, but it's a bit narrower as the paper I was using is from a 6x6 inch pad and therefore wouldn't fit.

This is the box open.

And here's both together - don't they look pretty?! I love them and just hope Sarah loves them too.

And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
