Saturday's Stuff

Just a couple of things I made today to fill my morning with lots of lovely craftiness!

The card is for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #172 with a spin to use die cuts or punches - I used both :) I just randomly picked some old Stampin' Up DSP and matched the colours to that. I used the gorgeous Ginger Blossom, which is almost run out now. I also used my fabulous new Happy Hexagons again (I so need the cover plate to get the positioning accurate every time though - it was out of stock when I placed my order, so hopefully it will be in stock next time!) along with my new Natural Beauties freebie set as well. This one is gorgeous too and I can see it being my new fave flower set.

My next project is for Just Magnolia's Challenge #170 and Cute Card Thursday's Challenge #230 both of which were using the Back To School theme. As a teacher I go through a TON of post it notes every year so I thought I would make a post it note holder for my desk at school. As I like my post its to be easy to get to I made this box into an easel box so my top cover is on show all the time and I can easily grab a postie when I need one! I love this box and think I'm going to make my new partner teacher one as well!

This is the front cover closed.

This is the box open! Tilda's feet hold up the front cover by overlapping slightly on to the actual box (she's popped up on dimensionals). Running out of post it notes at home!

And this is the view from the side. The cover doesn't quite fold down properly, but that's ok as I won't really see it from the side hehe!

And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by! Must go and get on with my masters assignment now!
