Peachy Balloons

This card is for Inkspirational's Challenge #19 to be inspired by the photo below and for Play Date Café's Challenge #181 to use these colours. I'm not a fan of peach or apricot at the best of times and then to put them together just didn't work for me. I like the style and layout of this card, but not the colours. Not sure I would like them even if I did something completely different!

And here's my card.

Recipe:

Stamps: Heart-2-Heart #2 from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Not Quite Navy, Apricot Appeal (Retired), Whisper White, In Colors  2011-13 DSP Stack (Retired) all from Stampin' Up

Inks: Not Quite Navy, Apricot Appeal (Retired), Peach Parfait (Retired) all from Stampin' Up

Accessories: Double Ended Banner Dies, Heart-2-Heart #2 Die both from Papertrey Ink, Apricot Appeal Grosgrain Ribbon (Retired) from Stampin' Up, Radiant Rectangles from Spellbinders

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Wow, that is a fabulous rectangle Vannessa, love your pretty balloons too! The polka dots and bow are sweet touches!

I'm not a fan of any oranges really, from deep tangerine through to peachy, apricot tones and I applaud you for taking the challenge - I'd have run the other way LOL! Considering they are not your fave colours you did a wonderful job!

So nice to have you joining us again at Inkspirational, hope to see you next time! Ruth x
