Lacy Sunshine Challenge #68 Under The Sea Christmas

Good Morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine. This fortnight our challenge is called Under The Sea Christmas and Heather has some fabulous images in the Lacy Sunshine store for this challenge.

I was given the gorgeous Goldie Sunkissed Mer to use for my card, so I went with a traditional red and green colour scheme for her, but not the sea obviously! I added some extra holly leaves and berries for a bit of decoration to match those on Goldie's wrists.

This card is also for Fairy Tale Challenge #127 to use a ticket Spellbinding Stamps Challenge #1 Embellishments 613 Avenue Create's Challenge #143 Anything Goes Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #329 Magical (I think mermaids are pretty magical!) Art by MiRan Fantastic Fall Papers by Tracy Wray

Good evening! I am a bit late posting this today, but I got here in the end. Today the Art by MiRan Facebook group have released the next set of fantastic patterned papers designed by fabulous DT member Tracy Wray. This month the papers and sentiments are Autumn themed and perfect for your Fall or Autumn themed projects.

I used the gorgeous Autumn Memoirs for my card today along with Tracy's papers, although I ended up covering them up a bit too much with all my leaf die cuts and didn't think about that until it was too late. Hopefully you can still see some of the papers peeking through.

The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge AND Art by MiRan Facebook Challenge Anything Goes

Good Morning and welcome to a combined challenge post from me today. I don't usually combine my DT cards, but lack of time this week means that I have had to this once. Since going back to school, work has been really busy and I have also had appointments and hospital visits all over the place, so I have been absolutely shattered. I think 8:30pm has become my new bedtime as I keep nodding off around then LOL

Anyway here is my card for this week'sFriday Colouring at The Outlawz which is our monthly Anything Goes with a Christmas Twist challenge and also for Art by MiRan's Facebook ChallengeAnything Goes with the option of making a card that is anything BUT a square. This post will be made a little later on today.

I used the gorgeousBunting Becky and one of my Dutch Doobadoo templates for the base of my card.

New Release at Julia Spiri Stamps - Little Ant

Good Morning and welcome to another new release post from me for Julia Spiri Stamps. We have some fabulous new images being released today and I was asked to use the adorableLittle Ant - isn't she just so cute?!

I decided to go for a Z-fold card today as I printed the image quite large and added a dotty background instead of colouring in the sky with clouds, like I usually do my skies. I also used the ladybird border die but cut it only in black so it would look like ants. I think it kind of does! Hope you like her!

Good Morning and welcome to another inspiration post from me for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps. As we are slowly approaching Hallowe'en and Ching-Chou has some fabulous Hallowe'en images in the store, I just had to use one! This is Big Pumpkin and isn't she just fabulous?!

I used my newish Pumpkin card base stencil from Dutch Doobadoo for the card base and layers and some fabulous digital papers that I bought from Etsy. A few leaf die cuts, some ribbons and a witch's hat charm finished it all off.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #67 Winds of Change

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the newLacy Sunshine Challenge. This fortnight we are challenging you to make a project with Winds of Change as the theme. Now seasonal changes seems to be the obvious choice for this challenge, but I went with an unobvious one. See if you can work out what my idea was from my card...

I used the fabulous Emily Magical Nanny for this card and made a pretty easel card using some old, but pretty patterned papers.

Did you get it? This is Heather's take on the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Mary Poppins, who comes to stay with Michael and Jane until THE WIND CHANGES! (Indicating that a new season has started!) A little bit different huh?!

Art by MiRan September Progressive Challenge

Good evening and welcome to my post for the new Progressive Challenge from the Art by MiRan Facebook Challenge team. This month we are starting to get a little bit seasonal and Mi Ran has drawn a beautiful winter themed image for us. You could make it a non-winter image if you so wish, but I went with the winter and kept to a blue and white monochromatic colour scheme.

I dug my Silhouette Portrait machine out for this one as I am on a mission to cut down on my crafting spending each month and trying to use my Portrait a bit more instead, which is so much cheaper and the studio has so many gorgeous die cuts anyway!

To find out how you can get this image for free, head on over to the Art by MiRan Facebook group and check out my pinned post there. If you joined in last month, you will need to email me. If you didn't then you can follow the link in the Facebook group to buy her at a discount just for this month!

The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge - Make A Hat Day

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for this week's challenge at The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge. This week we are celebrating National Make A Hat Day on September 15th, so we want you to use a hat on your project. You could use an image with a hat in it, make a hat, decorate a hat and anything else you can think of to do with hats!

I used the gorgeous The Gift image from our sponsor this month Norma Burnell, who is generously giving away 3 digis to the winner. I kept to a traditional Christmas colour scheme of reds and green and kept it fairly simple, seeing as the image is very detailed.

New Release at Julia Spiri - Emily

Good Morning and welcome to another new release from Julia Spiri Stamps. This month I have a cute little image to share with you. Her name is Emily and you will be able to find here here in the Julia Spiri Etsy store. Isn't she just adorable playing schools with her toys, just like I used to do when I was little. I still remember making my dolls and teddies have recorder playing lessons and I used to make them deliberately play badly so I could show them again how to do it! LOL The things we did as kids huh?!

Anyway here is Emily...I made a welcome sign for my classroom door as my other one is the wrong colour scheme! I have a pink and black theme in my classroom for all my desk bits, notebooks, tray labels, planning folder etc etc, so I thought this one would be perfect for the door!

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge over at The Paper Shelter. This week, our challenge is called "Charming" and we want to see you use a charm on your project.

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsors Fan-Tastic Tuesday Challenge #102

Good Morning and welcome to another DT post from me for Sassy Studio Designs. We have another sponsorship post today as we are sponsoring the Fan-Tastic Tuesday Challenge blog for their challenge #102 which is to make a feminine project.

As I'm still in love with all things Paris, following our little trip there, I decided to use the gorgeous France Honey and my new X-Cut Dies - Build A Scene Parisian Street. I saw someone else make a card using these dies in the Kit and Clowder group on Facebook and just had to have them! I also bought a haunted forest set ready for some Hallowe'en cards too!

I made a shadowbox to hang on my wall using various shades of grey for the shadowing part and then touches of pink for the other bits. I think this is feminine enough without being overly floral and vintage! I didn't have any suitable sentiments so I stamped one - it says Life is beautiful for those of you who don't speak French.

This shadow box is also for Die Cutting Divas'…
