The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge - Anything Goes with a Christmas Twist

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge at the Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge. This week it is our monthly Anything Goes challenge with the optional twist of making something Christmassy.

I have used the cute Winter Sisters fromVera Lane Studio, our sponsors this month and went for a traditional colour palette or red, white and green. I made this card reasonably flat so that I have some flat ones to send through the post. I don't like sending fancier ones as they tend to get damaged and cost a fortune to post as well!

In The Pink Challenge #83 Your Favourite Stamp

Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous challenge from the team at In The Pink. The fortnight we are challenging you to use your favourite stamps along with lots of pink of course, but if you're anything like me your favourite stamp probably changes with every new purchase.

I just couldn't decide on a single image, so instead I went with a theme. Fairies are one of my favourite things to put on a card and I love so many different fairy images, but settled on this gorgeous one from Faery Ink.

Sweet Pea Stamps Blog Hop and Crafting By Designs Guest Designer Post

Good Morning! I have a very sad post to make today. Today Lynette is closing the doors on Sweet Pea Stamps and we, the fans and some of the DT, are having a special blog hop to wish her a very fond farewell. I love so many of the designers in her store, so I hope they will all start their own store somewhere soon!

I am also very excited to be a guest designer for Crafting By Designs, who are being sponsored by Sweet Pea Stamps today too, so I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to join both posts together.

You should have hopped to me from Cindy's blog and I hope you loved her project!

I have used the adorable Sally and Snowball by Conie Fong and created a cute Christmas card.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #72 Sweet Dreams of Christmas

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. This week we are challenging you to create a project which shows someone dreaming of Christmas.

I chose to use the gorgeous Angel's Wix's Christmas Moon for this card and kept to a wintery colour palette of white, blue and grey. Love how this one came out! She looks quite peaceful up there on her moon daydreaming of Christmas, don't you think?!

Art by MiRan Facebook Group Anything Goes Challenge

Good evening and welcome to my post for the new challenge at the Art by MiRan Facebook group. This week it is our Anything Goes challenge for this month, with the optional extra of adding a die cut. As I use lots of die cuts on my of my cards, this was an easy twist for me.

I have used the gorgeous Fairy Noelle from Mi Ran's Whimsy Stamps line for this card and I just love the idea of a winter fairy, bringing beautiful snow flurries along with her. I used some iridescent snowflake sparkles that I "borrowed" from school after last year's Christmas activities and I love the colour of them! They go perfectly with this image too.

New Release at Alicia Bel

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the new release over at Alicia Bel. Alicia has released some gorgeous new Christmas and Winter themed digi stamps this month, so please do pop on over to the store and check them all out!

I used the gorgeous Snow Faery for a quick bauble shaped decoration. I totally love how this one came out and will be making some more with some of the other images as Christmas gifts for my friends and work colleagues. I kept this one fairly simple, but did add lots of glitter to the snowflakes and wings, but unfortunately my camera didn't pick that up!

And this is the reverse - quite clean and simple!

Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous new release time for Julia Spiri Stamps. This month Julia has created a gorgeous new collection, The Fruity Collection and I got to work with the gorgeous The Kiwi Girl. You can find all these new digis in the Julia Spiri etsy store.

I kept to a bright fruity theme for this one and added my funky tropical fruit border along with some cocktails to put all these fruits in to too! I used some bright papers that Julia created for me to use as well - love the lime green especially!

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the new challenge at The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is called Brr! It's Cold Outside and we are looking for lots of cold colours in blue, white and silver. Perfect wintry colours, don't you think?!

I used the gorgeous Fantasy on Ice image for my card and kept to a very cold colour palette! Love the wintry feel of this one though.

One Sweet Challenge Mid Month Inspiration Post

Good afternoon and welcome to my very final post for the One Sweet Challenge blog. In case you were not aware, Lynette has decided to close down the Sweet Pea Stamps store to concentrate on getting her health back and therefore this challenge blog will be closing at the end of the month too. It is a real shame as I love so many of the stamp designers available through Sweet Pea Stamps, but I completely understand that Lynette has to put her health first.

I haven't been part of this DT for long, but I  would like to say a big thank you to Lynette and Aletha for inviting me to join the team and to the rest of the DT for making me so welcome. I wish Lynette lots of health and happiness and I hope to still keep in contact with her and the rest of the team.

Anyway onto my card. This time I have used the adorable Old Maid Bee from Sandra Caldwell - love this cute character! I used bee colours of yellow and black and my hexagon stamps which were gathering a bit of dust in their box! Funn…

The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge Colour Inspiration Week

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge over at The Outlawz Friday Colouring Challenge. This week we have a gorgeous Autumnal colour palette for you to use - I thought these colours would work great for a turkey themed Thanksgiving card, but as we don't celebrate it over here in the Uk, I have no images that would work at all.

Instead I went with a cute bear stamp that I found in my box of random stamps! This was also my first attempt at using distress inks without being in one of Tracy Payne's classes! I think he came out ok, but I think he needs a bit more texture on his fur.

In The Pink Challenge #82 Fancy Fold or Fancy Shaped Card

Good Morning and welcome to my card for this fortnight's challenge from the In The Pink Challenge blog. This fortnight we are challenging you to use either a fancy fold or use a fancy shape to make your card.

I chose to use a fancy fold and went with a twisted easel card. I love doing these as they are so simple yet so pretty to do! I used a gorgeous image from Wee Stamps as well that Sylvia Zet was giving away on her Facebook page last month I think it was. Lots of bright pinks on this one too!

Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration Post - Rose Bride Dollie

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Inspiration and Challenge blog. This week we are showcasing some of the gorgeous Dollie stamps and I chose to work with Rose Bride Dollie. She is just beautiful and perfect for a wedding card.

I kept to a pink, white and grey combo and used a layout similar to one I found on Pinterest, but I didn't save it, so I have no idea who made it originally. It had a stamp on it from Lili of the Valley though!

Faery Ink GDT Application Post

Good evening! Faery Ink are having a guest designer call and I just had to apply as I love their images! I love most things fairy, so I can't go wrong with these gorgeous images!

Manda has asked that we share an older project using one of her images. Now this was a bit hard to choose as I have many projects that I love using Faery Ink images, but I'm going to show The Grey Witch, which I entered into the Faery Ink Facebook Challenge Grey Scale with a pop of colour. I had never done this technique before and loved how this one came out!

Manda has also asked that we share a new project for the DT call and I made a Christmas card using the beautiful Gabbie Holibell, one of my recent purchases. This card shows my style easily - lots of layers, lots of die cuts, Copic colouring and some ribbon. It's just missing some flowers, but I didn't think they would fit on this card really with everything else that is on it! It is also way more sparkly in real life too as all the whit…

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #71 Tic-Tac-Toe

Good Morning and welcome to my post for the new Lacy Sunshine Challenge. I don't know if it's me, but it seems like ages since my last Lacy Sunshine challenge. Must dig out my folder and have a play with these gorgeous girls some time very soon!

This fortnight we have a great tic-tac-toe or noughts and crosses (if you're in the UK! :P) board for you to play along with. Simple to use too - simply pick a row, a column or a diagonal line and include all of the elements in that line on your project.

And here's my card using the gorgeous Sparkletini Happy Hour Pin Up. I used the middle and right hand side columns to include die-cuts, sparkle, sentiment, use a digi, ribbon and pattern paper as well as using a hand coloured image and maybe lots of layers (I have 4 or 5 depending on how you count them!)
This card is also for Crafting With Friends Challenge #10 Anything Goes Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge So Glossy Di's Digi Designs Challenge Tic-Tac-Toe (I used the middle …

All Dressed Up New Release Day and Birthday Blog Hop!

Good Morning and welcome to my DT post for the new releases from All Dressed Up. Wendy is releasing 4 gorgeous new images again this month and I chose to use the adorable Christmas Penguins for my project. I love penguins - they are just so adorable waddling on the snow, but are just amazing swimmers and divers too!

As well as this amazing new release, it is also All Dressed Up's second birthday and to celebrate we are having a little blog hop with a fabulous new freebie image that Wendy has drawn and is generously giving away. Join in with the blog hop, leaving each designer a comment and you will be entered in the hat to win one of the new release digis for free!

You should have arrived here from Tracey's blog, but not to worry if you didn't. You can start from my blog and go round or you can go back to the All Dressed Up blog and start from there if you want.

I made a gift tag for a change as I thought this image would fit really nice in the tag shape. I rarely make fan…

Art by MiRan November Progressive Challenge

Good evening and welcome to my post for the new Progressive Challenge from the Art by MiRan Facebook team. This month we have another fabulous image that Mi Ran has drawn for us, but to get ahold of this gorgeous gal, you need to head on over to the Facebook group and read the pinned post I have written! All the info you need is in there! See you there!

And here is Talkative Tracy. Love her! I used some of my new gorgeous papers from Lili of the Valley for this one and went for a more messy coloured hair style today. Sometimes I find that if I do the flicks the way my colouring class says, they look a bit like tiger stripes, so I went for a free for all today and this is looks a bit more natural!
