Something Else on Saturday #18 Featuring Newton's Nook Aloha

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. As a teacher, I like to give cards to my team teachers and teaching assistants and thought I would share some of them here with you for this week's post. It's a long one though!

I used the fun Aloha stamp set from Newton's Nook for both of these cards - this is such a fun tropical themed stamp set that I bought not too long ago!

This first card was for Andy, my team leader, so a fairly simple card for a man! I think this sentiment is fabulous for end of year teacher cards as Mondays are always hard! (Like with anyone I guess who has the weekend off work!)

This card is for

My next card was for Kat, my lovely teaching assistant, who loves cats! I created a beach scene with lots of die cuts and added some of the flowers from the same stamp set and the palm trees from Sending You Sunshine by Sunny Studio.

As You Like It Challenge Favourite Beast - My favourite animal is a cat. They can be hilarious to watch when playing and so soft and cuddly when curled up asleep. Stroking a cat just makes everything feel better!
