Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Hallowe'en Tomte Gnome

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Faery Ink! I have been a bit MIA recently - getting back into work caused my mojo to go AWOL for a while and then we had the lovely(!) Ofsted inspectors in as well, which is always stressful and a busy time! But I am now back! Hopefully with a vengeance too!

Anyway here is today's card using this fabulous image from the Hallowe'en Tomte Gnome Bundle.

Something Else on Saturday #28 Featuring Jukebox and Milkshake from Moonlight Whispers

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post! I think my mojo has finally returned after disappearing for the last month or so and hopefully you will be seeing a few more posts throughout the week as well!

Today is my aunt's 50th birthday party so I made this card for her as it is her to a T! This stamp is Jukebox and Milkshake from Moonlight Whispers - I just love Annie Rodrigue's images ever since I discovered them through Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps years ago! So glad she is now selling them as digis as you cannot buy KKS stamps over here in the UK really at all anymore 😢

Anyway here she is...I tried to do a checkered floor but my angles are way off and it looks like she's sloping down, but never mind! My aunt won't notice I'm sure! Definitely a technique to practise though!

Whimsy Stamps Penguin Spook Nite

Good morning and welcome to my post for today. I am sharing a Hallowe'en scene I have coloured and created which will be added to my Hallowe'en decorations for this year. We always decorate our front room with various Hallowe'en things we have bought or that I have made every year along with our collection of carved pumpkins that we go out and pick!

I completed the August Colouring Class from My Creative Scoop with Mindy Baxter using the Penguin Spook Nite digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps and then added it to a  punched out base and added lots of patterned papers and dies! I did add a flap to the back so I can stand up, so really it is a huge card, but not one for sending or giving out! It measures 8.5 inches square!

This Hallowe'en scene is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Penguin Spook Nite from Whimsy Stamps, Totally Witchin' from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Papers: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Wild wasabi (Retired), Chocolate Chip (Retired), Smoky Slate, Whisper White & Spooky Night DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Scrapper's Delights Special Deals

Good evening everyone and welcome to my DT post for this month's Special Deals from Scrapper's Delights. I decided to go for a Hallowe'en theme this month and chose to use the adorable Halloween Sachi for my card!

This image was lots of fun to colour, all except for the sky - my Copics just didn't want to blend at all well. Not sure if it was the heat or they were just being difficult for difficulty's sake! It doesn't look too bad though, I hope!

I pulled out some old Hallowe'en papers as well and have never used this cat paper before, but I thought it would work well on this card with Sachi's Hallowe'en costume!

Something Else on Saturday #25 Featuring James with Butterflies from Lili of the Valley

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday blog post. I am slowly trying to make my way through my pile of stamps that I have already coloured and this one, James with Butterflies from Lili of the Valley, has been in my folder for absolutely ages. I remember colouring him up for one of the 30 Day Colouring Challenges last year and have never got round to using him, so here he is at long last!

I used some of my old Stampin' Up papers on this one, ones I have almost a full pack of as I never really use the colour combo in them. However, they did work well with this image!
