Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Hallowe'en Tomte Gnome

Good morning and welcome to my inspiration post for Faery Ink! I have been a bit MIA recently - getting back into work caused my mojo to go AWOL for a while and then we had the lovely(!) Ofsted inspectors in as well, which is always stressful and a busy time! But I am now back! Hopefully with a vengeance too!

Anyway here is today's card using this fabulous image from the Hallowe'en Tomte Gnome Bundle.

This card is for A Gem of A Challenge Week 19 Anything Goes Crafty Catz Challenge #476 Anything Goes Colour Crazy Challenge Week 38 Anything Goes Polkadoodles Challenge Week 39 Anything Goes Creative Knockouts Challenge 317 Anything Goes Crafty Creations Challenge #399 Anything Goes

Something Else on Saturday #28 Featuring Jukebox and Milkshake from Moonlight Whispers

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post! I think my mojo has finally returned after disappearing for the last month or so and hopefully you will be seeing a few more posts throughout the week as well!

Today is my aunt's 50th birthday party so I made this card for her as it is her to a T! This stamp is Jukebox and Milkshake from Moonlight Whispers - I just love Annie Rodrigue's images ever since I discovered them through Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps years ago! So glad she is now selling them as digis as you cannot buy KKS stamps over here in the UK really at all anymore 😢

Anyway here she is...I tried to do a checkered floor but my angles are way off and it looks like she's sloping down, but never mind! My aunt won't notice I'm sure! Definitely a technique to practise though!

Today's card is my first one using my new set from Lawn Fawn - Halloween Houses.I attempted to make a small village in the hills scene with a few children trick or treating, but probably should have added a few more now I look back at it - might do that later!

This card is for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #61 Awesome Autumn Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge Anything Goes Digi Choosday Challenge Week 39 Anything Goes Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes Southern Girls Challenge Tic Tac Toe (I went for Die Cut - Stamp - Blue) As You Like It Challenge Favourite Style (I love layered cards and at the minute creating scenes either through colouring or using dies is my fave thing to do!)

Whimsy Stamps Penguin Spook Nite

Good morning and welcome to my post for today. I am sharing a Hallowe'en scene I have coloured and created which will be added to my Hallowe'en decorations for this year. We always decorate our front room with various Hallowe'en things we have bought or that I have made every year along with our collection of carved pumpkins that we go out and pick!

I completed the August Colouring Class from My Creative Scoop with Mindy Baxter using the Penguin Spook Nite digital stamp from Whimsy Stampsand then added it to a  punched out base and added lots of patterned papers and dies! I did add a flap to the back so I can stand up, so really it is a huge card, but not one for sending or giving out! It measures 8.5 inches square!

Something Else on Saturday #27 Featuring Edna loves Chocolate from Stamping Bella

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post! Today, I am sharing a fun card I made using one of the stamps that my boyfriend bought me for my birthday back in July. I love these Edna fairy stamps from Stamping Bella and I love my chocolate (although being on a diet at the moment means I haven't had a proper bar for weeks now!), so this stamp just called my name!

i used one of my Dutch Doobadoo card art templates for the card shape and got a bit carried away with my Nuvo Crystal Drops, but I love them! can't have enough of them! LOL

Something else on Saturday #26 Featuring Princess and Apple from Paper Nest Dolls

Good morning and Happy Saturday! It's the end of my first week back at school after my 6 week summer holidays and boy am I shattered! I always am the first few weeks as I try to get back into the early morning routine again! Loving being back to teaching again though!

Anyway...this week's Something Else is a quick bookmark I made for school for our class reader (which is Terry's Deary's The Phantom of the Nile as the Ancient Egyptians are our first topic). I used the adorable Princess and Apple from the Paper Nest Dolls as I thought the Snow White was perfect for school!

Scrapper's Delights Special Deals

Good evening everyone and welcome to my DT post for this month's Special Deals from Scrapper's Delights. I decided to go for a Hallowe'en theme this month and chose to use the adorable Halloween Sachifor my card!

This image was lots of fun to colour, all except for the sky - my Copics just didn't want to blend at all well. Not sure if it was the heat or they were just being difficult for difficulty's sake! It doesn't look too bad though, I hope!

I pulled out some old Hallowe'en papers as well and have never used this cat paper before, but I thought it would work well on this card with Sachi's Hallowe'en costume!

Something Else on Saturday #25 Featuring James with Butterflies from Lili of the Valley

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday blog post. I am slowly trying to make my way through my pile of stamps that I have already coloured and this one, James with Butterflies from Lili of the Valley, has been in my folder for absolutely ages. I remember colouring him up for one of the 30 Day Colouring Challenges last year and have never got round to using him, so here he is at long last!

I used some of my old Stampin' Up papers on this one, ones I have almost a full pack of as I never really use the colour combo in them. However, they did work well with this image!

Good evening and welcome to my DT post for the new releases from Scrapper's Delightsthis month. I am sharing the gorgeous Chibi VIP Libra digital stamp today using many of the different images in the set.

I chose these colours at random and love the green and lavender purple combo! I did keep the card fairly simple in terms of layers (I do love my layers), but as there are so many added elements, I didn't think it needed them so much this time.
