Scene it Sunday #13 Featuring Caveman Summer BBQ from Cute As A Button

Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! I keep forgetting to enter the Cute As A Button Facebook challenges, so made an effort to do mine this month using this cute caveman! He looked a bit lost though, so I thought I would colour a scene around him and even though it's not perfect, I think it came out pretty good! Especially for someone who cannot draw to save their life!

The sentiment came from the Polkadoodles Sticks and Bones Collection and fitted with this image brilliantly!

LeAnn's World 101 Inspiration Post featuring Thianna's Fan

Good morning and welcome to my DT Inspiration post for LeAnn's World 101. This month I chose to use the gorgeous Thianna's Fan and went for one of my fave colour combos - hot pink, black and white. I went for a very girly layout as well and pulled out some of my old dies that have been gathering dust for this one. I used to use them all the time and then kind of went off them for a while, but they do look oh so pretty!

This card is for

Something Else on Saturday #71 & Faery Ink Inspiration Post Featuring Autumn Rosie the Yo-Yo Vamp

Good morning and welcome to a double up post from me for today. I am sharing the new release from Faery Ink, but as it's coming out today on the same day as two of my other posts should be, I thought I would use this one for my Something Else on Saturday post as well.

This gorgeous image is Autumn Rose the Yo-Yo Vamp and I asked Amanda if she would mind me adding some other digi stamps to her to create a scene and she was fine with it. I just love how it all came out, but boy did it take a while to colour!

Boo, Boo, Booyah!

Good evening everyone! I had a monster of a crafting day today and ended up making six cards altogether with loads of the images I keep colouring and putting away in my storage wallet! This stamp set was one of my new ones from this month's purchases and I knew just what I wanted to make for the Lawn Fawnatics current challenge.

I made a DL sized card and inked up the main background with my distress oxide inks before splattering water over it and then added a few more white paint dots too. The alphabet dies are quite large but perfect this sized card!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #438 With A Number

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. We are back from our summer break, so we hope you will all join us in our new challenge, which is to use a number on your card or project.

I have cheated a little on this one as I don't generally make birthday cards with numbers on unless they are for someone specific and then the card is made for their likes and tastes and sadly I have none coming up for a few years yet! Instead, I used a HB2U stamp to go with my Cool Skater image.

This card is for

Papers: Gorgeous Grape, Island Indigo (Retired) & Gingham Garden DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Vintage Paper Bloc from Joy Crafts, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

End of Summer...Start of Hallowe'en?

Good morning and welcome to my post for today. It's coming up to the end of my summer holidays and I'll soon be returning back to school, but what that will look like with all the social distancing rules in place I have no idea. All I know is that is is going to be very strange, very different from how I normally teach and very scary all at the same time. Will be good to get back into the classroom though!

So now it's time to start on some Hallowe'en cards and keep my fingers crossed that I get to hand them out this time! I couldn't give any Easter cards out as we were shielding at the time! This card uses one of my new sets from Newton's Nook Designs and was perfect for making a silhouette slimline card!

I inked the background with my Distress Ink Oxides before adding the stamped images and some die cut grass. I used a white gel pen to add some stars in the sky and to colour the eyes in the spooky eyes and the owl.

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Spooky Street from Newton's Nook Designs

Papers: Perfect Plum (Retired) & Basic Black both from Stampin' Up, Ultimate Graphic Paper, Card Blank from Anita's

Scene It Sunday #12 Featuring Bakery Cafe and Cupcake Anya from The Greeting Farm

Happy Sunday and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post. This week I have used another of the scene builder sets from The Greeting Farm - this time the Bakery Cafe set and added Cupcake Anya behind the counter. I love adding all the different elements to these scenes, making it my own rather than just colouring someone else's idea. I did actually make this one the wrong size for a DL sized card, which is what I was going for, so I ending up building the card from the image up, instead of my usual way from the base down!

LeAnn's World 101 Challenge #29 Anything Goes

Good Morning and welcome to a new challenge from LeAnn's World 101. This month, as always, our challenge is an Anything Goes challenge and you can use any image you wish to enter. However, if you use an image from LeAnn's Store, then you get an extra entry to win this month's challenge.

I used the cute Kate At The Beach stamp for me card - ideal for the summer! Just wish we were heading to the beach this summer, but sadly with the current situation (and the crazy amounts of people at the beach here in the UK) we're not going away this year. I'm just not happy to take the risk to mingle with so many strangers just yet!
