Gimme a green card!

I would love a green card actually - I will move to America one day, ideally to Manhattan but I know I haven't got THAT sort of money, so I guess it will be somewhere nice with tons of land and a huge house, so I can have my own crafting room.

Anyways, just a few green cards I made this weekend. This first one is for Sweet Sunday's Sketch Challenge #111 and CR84FN22 to use kraft, brown and green. I have a SU workshop coming up in just over 2 weeks so I thought I better make a couple of samples for it as I hardly do any SUO cards nowadays. This one is a ASUO (Almost Stampin Up Only) card as I did have to use my nesties for the circle. This is the inspiration swatch from CR84FN and isn't that wreath just gorgeous?!

And here's my card for it. I attempted watercolouring with the SU watercolor paper and pencils that I won at Monica and Bekka last training event. I'm not really sure about having brown flowers as to me it means they're dead flowers, but there were brown ones in the DSP pack so I guess they must be ok LOL

Recipe:

Stamps: Growing Green, Curly Cute both from SU

Papers: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper, Woodland Walk DSP all from SU

Inks: Chocolate Chip, Garen Green, Watercolor Pencils all from SU

Accessories: Curly Label Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon all from SU, Circle Nestabilities

My next one is for Waltzing Mouse Sketch Challenge #41 which was really to make a set of 4 mini cards and CC115 to use Certainly Celery, Vintage Violet (which I subbed with Perfect Plum) and Old Olive. Another SUO to add to my samples! To make my flowers I stamped and punched out 4 of the scalloped flower then folded each in quarters before gluing to another scallop circle in Perfect PLum. I stitched the button on so it held the flowers down a bit in the centre. Although, they don't look it in the photo, they do look a lot more 3D.

Recipe:

Stamps: En Francais, Printed Petals, Just Believe all from SU

Papers: Perfect PLum, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Whisper White all from SU

Inks: Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum both from SU

Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Bird Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Old Olive Buttons, Linen Thread all from SU

My next one is probably more of a pink card than a green card, but it has a bit of green in it! This one is for Totally Hues Challenge #5 to use Sweet Blush, Scarlet Jewel and New Leaf (what a gorgeous combo this one turned out to be!), SC326 and for PTI Princess Sue's Spring Cleaning Challenge.  I am a complete hoarder so I have tons of the tissue paper that PTI wrap the stamp sets in and for once I have used it for something other than wrapping jewellery in. I cut out 4 of the Signature Series flowers and stamped them with my new Twinkle set for a cute little embellie!

Recipe:

Stamps: Flutterby Friend, Background Basics: Twinkle both from PTI

Papers: New Leaf, Scarlet Jewel, Sweet Blush, Stampers Select White, Dotty Biscotti Patterned Paper all from PTI

Inks: Scarlet Jewel, New Leaf both from PTI, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics

Accessories: Signature Series Flower Die, Victorian Lace Border Die, New Leaf Ribbon, Diamonds Impression Plate, Scarlet Jewel Button all from PTI, Embroidery thread from stash, Square Nestabilities, Diamond Stickles

And my final green card is for A Passion for Papertrey's Hey Baby Challenge, which was to make a card for a new baby (I can't actually believe that I don't have a baby set at all from PTI - I don't do babies, they scare me :P, so I had to wait until my new goodies arrived on Friday so I could use my new little bird and birdhouse stamps from the Tag It #2 set!). This one also uses the sketch from Truly Scrumptious' Challenge #54, CC316 to use Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and Marina Mist and for Free For All #58 to use a house!

Recipe:

Stamps: Tag It #2, Everyday Classics both from PTI

Papers: Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery DSP (retired) all from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI

Inks: Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery all from SU

Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Baja Breeze Ribbon (retired) all from SU, Doily Details Die, Limited Layers 1 3/4" Circle Collection Die both from PTI, Card Candy from Craftworks Cards

And that's all my green cards for today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
