Just a few more cards I made this weekend that use either red or pink!
This first one is for Viva La Verve's Sketch #1 for April, Color Throwdown's Challenge #135 to use red, black, yellow and cream and for Farm Fresh's Challenge In With The New to use something new in honour of the new challenge blog for The Greeting Farm. My Hats Off set is one of my newest ones, that I bought a couple of weeks ago.
Recipe:
Stamps: Hats Off from The Greeting Farm, Mat Stack 3 Collection from PTI
Papers: Barely Banana (retired), Basic Black, Love Letter DSP all from SU, Copics White
Inks: Riding Hood Red from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Doily Details Die from PTI, Black Satin Ribbon from stash, Black Zoomz from Stamp Galaxy
My next card is for PTI's Make It Monday Challenge #8 to use ink blending techniques, Stampin' Royalty's Challenge #65 to use heat embossing (I attempted to use the emboss resist technique, but my so-called clear embossing powder still turned pink when I inked over it!) and for Papertake Weekly's Sketch Challenge #54.
Recipe:
Stamps: Dot Spot, Think Big Favorites #2 both from PTI
Papers: Bashful Blue from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI, Silver card from stash, DSP from October Afternoon
Inks: Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Versamark all from SU
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder Bashful Blue Ribbon (retired) both from SU, Oval Nestabilities, Buttons from Elzybells
My next one is for Mojo Sketch Challenge #184, Totally Tilda's Challenge #19 - Sweet Treat for Tilda, which was to include cake, chocolate or sweets, Just Magnolia's Challenge #100, which was anything goes with a button and old combo CC52H to use Taken With Teal, Regal Rose, Blush Blossom and Close to Cocoa.
Recipe:
Stamps: Make A Wish from PTI, Tilda Carrying Birthday Cake from Magnolia
Papers: Close To Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Sweet Pea DSP (all retired), Regal Rose all from SU, Copics White
Inks: Close to Cocoa (retired) from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Fairytale Ribbon (retired), Scallop Trim Punch both from SU, Button from Elzybells, Roses from eBay, Double Ended Banner Die from PTI
And my final project for this weekend is my Easter gift to my work colleagues and friends. I made 12 of these all together. They were really fun to make, especially as I kept dropping the mini eggs as I was filling them so just had to eat those ones! I bought 3kg of mini eggs, not really knowing how many eggs would weigh that much and OMG I had trillions! And after making 12 of these boxes and making 29 little tissue paper bundles with 10 eggs in each for the children in my class I still have about 1/3 of the bag left! Oh well, more for me to eat I guess hehe!
This one is for Just Add Ink's Challenge #62 to just add a box or bag and for PTI Princess Sue P's Easter Challenge. I was waiting for my Friendship Jar Spring Fillers to arrive before making this one as I knew I wanted that cute little chick on the box! And I guess this one could also be for PTI Princess Sue R's Spring Cleaning Challenge as well as all the acetate pieces came from the PTI stamp sets too. I have a huge bag full of them as you never know when you might need a little bit!
Recipe:
Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, Friendship Jar Spring Fillers both from PTI, A Good Egg from SU
Papers: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip both from SU, Stampers Select White from PTI, Acetate sheet from PTI stamp sets
Inks: Chocolate Chip from SU, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Oval Punches all from SU, Oval Nestabilities
And that's all from me today folks! Thanks for stopping by!
