LeAnn's World 101 Inspiration post featuring Sabrina

Good morning and welcome to my monthly inspiration post for LeAnn's World 101. This month I picked the gorgeous Sabrina for my card to add to my Hallowe'en card stash! I made her into a fairly wide image, so that I could add her to a DL sized card, but boy did that sky take a while do!

I kept the rest of the card fairly simple and added a few die cut bats and cats (the cats were needed to fit in with the sentiment, which is one of my faves to use for Hallowe'en cards!).

Scene It Sunday #17 Featuring Let's Go Nuts from Lawn Fawn

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post. I thought I would use my new Lawn Fawn goodies for this week's card. I love squirrels so this stamp set jumped straight into my basket on release day! And I just had to have the cute Acorn House die and the Lift The Flap Trees too, but I forgot to get the Big Acorn stamp set, so that will go on next month's order!

I made a DL sized card for this one to get everything in and used the Lift The Flap trees die twice, but cut the frame off it to make it more like the trees were in the woods. I also used the new Into The Woods patterned papers for the sky.

This is the card with the flaps closed...

And this is with the flaps open, so you can see the cute squirrels hiding inside!

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for this week's challenge from The Paper Shelter. Our challenge this time is called Blast From the Past, so I used an older image from another era. This gorgeous gal is Retro Chic and I totally love her outfit! I love all the 50s and 60s clothes and think I really should have been back then!

For the layout, I decided to copy the theme of the picture behind her and then added some pom pom trim in the corners and gems as well. The sentiment I found in a set from Clearly Besotted, which was just perfect for this image!

Something Else on Saturday #73 Featuring Madame Mirlande from Sweet November Stamps

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. You can probably tell, but I'm starting to get right into Hallowe'en colouring mode now! I love all the creepy, but fun images, and just had to colour this one when I saw Amy Young's version of her. The background was totally taken from Amy's card (hope she doesn't mind a bit of obvious inspiration here!). I just loved all the swirls of magic around our beautiful voodoo priestess (but Amy's were better!)

I have never done a background like this before and I really enjoyed doing it, even though I didn't have a clue what I was doing :P

Scene it Sunday #14 Featuring Birthday Party and Birthday Boys from The Greeting Farm

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! The Greeting Farm brought out some more of their fabulous scene building digi stamps again last month, so again, I had to add them to my catalogue! I used the Birthday Boys this time, to add yet another boy card to my stash!

I made almost a slimline sized card - it was supposed to be a DL sized card, but was slightly too short to fit, so I made my own card base to fit the image instead! I wanted the scene to look like the birthday boy was receiving all his presents but couldn't add another character in there without it being too full - it is full enough as it is! I love layering all the different elements but I do get carried away sometimes LOL

Something Else on Saturday #72 Frogs from Rachelle Anne Miller

Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. Not sure if you have seen but Rachelle Anne Miller has recently released lots of stamps in digital format now, so I just had to buy a few! I have some of her clear rubber stamps from many years ago and these images are always really cute!

Today I thought I would add another card to my pile for masculine cards and used the frogs image! I thought this was a really fun one, even though I'm not a fan of frogs in real life! I went for a DL sized card and used an old Sizzix alphabet die set that I found when sorting out my spare room. I don't think it had ever been used!
