Something Else on Saturday #120 Featuring Llama Alpaca-corn from Alex Shops Art

Good morning and Happy Saturday! Welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. Not so long ago I found this store on Etsy selling the cutest digi stamps and this is my first card made with one of them - the llama alpaca-corn from Alex Shops Art

I thought I would go very sparkly on this one and added lots more stars using some of my glimmer paper from Stampin' Up. The colours went perfectly with the ones I used to colour this image in. (I always colour first and then find papers to match, which isn't always the best idea!)

The Paper Shelter Challenge #480 Colour It

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. We have all had a lovely summer break (and hope you have had one too!). I have spent many an hour crafting this summer as well as doing lots of reading and gaming!

We did manage to get away for a few days to the Lake District, which was really relaxing and even though the weather was supposed to rainfall the whole time, it kept away and became really warm at one point. We went on a boat trip round Lake Windermere which was on my bucket list of things to do, visited the Beatrix Potter World of Attraction, did a bit of shopping and went to Aria Force waterfall. The scenery round there was just beautiful, so if you have never been and get the chance do go up there!

Anyway... our challenge is back this week with the theme of Colour It, so we want to see you projects that you have coloured in using any medium you wish. As always I have used my Copics to colour in this fabulous image, Sweet! I added in the tiles for the wall by just drawing faint pencil lines before colouring them in.

Sweet November Stamps Friday the 13th Goth Dolls New Release Maniacal Melissa

Good morning and welcome to today's post, which is the final post for this new release of digital stamps from Sweet November Stamps. If you want to see my other two cards that I have made using the stamps from the Friday the 13th Goth dolls Collection, then check out my other posts.

For this card I have used Maniacal Melissa and as she is holding a couple of smoking test tubes, I wanted to create a kind of mad professor type scene. However, my drawing skills are just nowhere near good enough to do anything like that, so I added the Scene Builder: Bubbling Cauldron and the window from Scene Builder Brownie Hole and Accessories and tried to make it look like she was in a stone room in a tall tower with a stained glass window!

Scene It Sunday #56 Featuring Friday the 13th Goth Dolls from Sweet November Stamps

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! This week I have made another card using some more of the Friday 13 Goth Dolls from Sweet November Stamps. For this card I have used Appalling AmyCreepy Caitlyn and Toxic Tee and Scary Squishy and set them up as if they were meeting up on a nighttime walk. The hills were inspired by my recent trip to the Lake District, which is incredibly hilly! As beautiful as that area is, it was a killer on my legs who are used to the incredibly flat area of my hometown!

I chose to colour up each of the dolls with a different colour skin and I think I like the lime green one the best! And Amy's dress was totally inspired by Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas which is one of my favourite films!

Recipe:

Stamps: Appalling Amy, Creepy Caitlyn, Toxic Tee and Scary Squishy & Scene Builder: Spooky Full Moon all from Sweet November Stamps, Valentina Vampire from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Papers: Cajun Craze & Basic Black both from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

And that's all from me for this post folks! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to pop back tomorrow for my final card from this new release from Sweet November Stamps!

Sweet November Stamps Friday the 13th Goth Dolls New Release Venomous Vannessa

Hello everyone and welcome to a special post from me today! I was asked by Amy Young and Tee Tucker if I would guest design for them with this new release from Sweet November Stamps and I just could not say no! I am a more of a rock & metal chick than a goth girl at heart, although I had a big goth phase as a teen (not EMO - my teen years were way before that!). Sisters of Mercy were a huge fave band of mine and everything I wore was black, so this new release was just perfect for me!

This card features my namesake - Venomous Vannessa, although I don't think I'm that venomous LOL. This poor bride has been left without her beloved so she has taken to wearing her wedding dress every Hallowe'en when she goes to the cemetery to visit his grave.

I would love to get married on Hallowe'en (although my BF is not as keen!), but being a teacher my wedding has to take place during a weekend or during one of the school holidays as we're not supposed to take time off work for that kind of thing! Last year Hallowe'en was on a Saturday but there's no way I wanted my wedding to take place in the middle of pandemic! So I'll just have to wait patiently for another Hallowe'en Saturday to turn up, which will give me enough time to convince my BF to agree to a Hallowe'en wedding LOL!

Anyway....enough rambling. Here's my card! It's quite a big scene so the rest of the card was left fairly plain - just a little bit of patterned paper!

This card is for
