12 Days of Christmas Countdown Day #1 Featuring Newton's Holiday Mischief from Newton's Nook Designs

Good morning everyone! I thought I would attempt to do a 12 Days of Christmas Countdown feature on my blog and am hoping that I will have the time to make enough cards or projects for it!

For Day #1, I am sharing with you all this cute card using a stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs, Newton's Holiday Mischief. I went for a traditional red and green combo on this card, mostly to try and use up some old patterned papers, but I do love how it came out. The sentiments came from another NND set, A Kitten's Christmas, as I wanted bigger ones than those in the Holiday Mischief set.

Recipe:

Good Morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! As well as using all my unused and new stamps, I am also trying to create more interactive cards and to use my dies a bit more as well, so this set was just perfect to try that out!

I made a tall DL sized card and added lots of layers of "snow" with my trees landscape die at the top. I added a slider die cut to the bottom and with a bit of a push the little sledging friends do slide. I need to get myself some of that powder you can get to make them slide more smoothly.

The Paper Shelter 10th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop. This blog hop is in celebration of The Paper Shelter reaching their 10th Birthday on December 8th. It will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a "A SPECIAL CELEBRATION" theme, which I know is extremely popular!
