A Week of Hallowe'en - Thursday & Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Destiny Graveyard Vamp

Good morning and Happy Hallowe'en! Welcome to my DT inspiration post for Faery Ink! I know Amanda just loves Hallowe'en, probably more than me, but I just had to make a Hallowe'en decoration using the gorgeous Destiny Graveyard Vamp. Isn't she just a sexy vamp?!

I used my fabulous Spiderweb Punch Around the Page set to make the frame and had to add oozes of blood dripping down different sections!

A Week of Hallowe'en - Wednesday & The Paper Shelter Challenge #404 Make It Square

Good morning and welcome to another of my Hallowe'en posts! Today I am combining it with my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter, which is to make a square project. Easy right?! Until I forgot the square and used the giant spiderweb to make a card base! Luckily I remembered in time and stuck it to the square card base!

I used the adorable Cute Witch and added some die cut bats and a spider to add to the spiderweb.

A Week of Hallowe'en - Tuesday

Good morning and welcome to another of my Hallowe'en post for this week. Today I'm sharing a card using a few of my new sets from Clearly Besotted - Halloween Plushies, Halloween Gift (which was a freebie set with the new release bundle) and Picture It Halloween.

I will add that my copics went really horrible on the grass on this card and try as I might they just would not blend. I have tried everything to fix this set of colours and always forget they are awful to use until I get halfway through the colouring. To be honest, I think I need to chuck them away and buy new ones as I have cleaned and cleaned them, changed the nibs and they are still sticky. There must be something wrong inside I think!

A Week of Hallowe'en - Monday

Good Morning and welcome to today's Hallowe'en post! I absolutely love Hallowe'en and making Hallowe'en cards and other crafty items - just wish my friends loved it as much as me! They just don't seem to get why I love it so much 😁👻💀👿

Anyway today's card uses the cute Going Batty stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. I went for a CAS tall card this time, not my usual style I know, but I wanted to have a play with my Distress Oxides and get a sunset look to the sky. Think it came out really nicely, but I need a darker purple at the bottom and didn't want to mix my Stampin' Up inks with them in case it went all wrong! Different types of inks and all that!

I tried to give the card the feel that all the bats were racing down to the pumpkins and the baby bat was the winner! They are just adorable bats, though aren't they?!

Recipe:

Stamps: Going Batty from Whimsy Stamps

Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Always Artichoke (Retired) & Whisper White all from Stampin' Up, Card Blank from Anita's, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Ripened Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade & Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks all from Tim Holtz, Copic Markers

Accessories: Grassy Hillside Border Dies from Lawn Fawn

Copics Used:
Bats - W1, W3, W5, W7, W9, 100, R20

And that's all for today's Hallowe'en post - thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again for another one tomorrow!

A Week of Hallowe'en - Sunday

I realised today that I have made loads of Hallowe'en cards recently and not yet shared them, so I thought I would do a week (or thereabouts) of Hallowe'en. I don't quite have enough to do a 12 Days of Hallowe'en like other companies are doing at the minute, but 6 Days of Hallowe'en doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it?

Anyway onto today's card....This uses an adorable set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that I just had to have from last year's release and then never got round to using! I had to use them this year though! I made a simple box card and added lots of die cuts for my vampires! I also had a go at cutting out a coffin and after a few adjustments, I think it came out ok.

Faery Ink Inspiration Post - Gabbie 50s Girl

Good morning everyone and welcome to my DT inspiration post for Faery Ink. This week I decided to do something a bit different from all the Hallowe'en cards I have been making recently and chose to use the adorable Gabbie 50s Girl. I so should have been born in the 1950s as I just love all these gorgeous skirts and dresses and have now built up a bit of a collection of my own!

As a huge fan of Grease as well, I just had to make her into a Pink Lady and the sentiment/quote is taken from the Pink Ladies Pledge as well.

You can read more about this card over on the Faery Ink blog!

Something Else on Saturday #29 Featuring Garden Mice from Newton's Nook

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post. I saw a card a while ago using this adorable stamp set, so added it to my birthday wish list and my lovely boyfriend bought it for me (even though he hates buying me craft stuff for some reason!).

I wanted to create a cute garden scene using all of the different mice images, but stamped the mouse and butterfly too high off the toadstool, so had to cut them all out and I think they still look cute without a Copic coloured background.

Scrapper's Delight VIP Chibi New Release

Good evening and welcome to my DT post for the new releases from Scrapper's Delights. This month the new releases are all  gorgeous and I am sharing one of the new Zodiac images again - this time Scorpio. She reminded me a lot of a sci-fi movie/tv show character, so I kind of went for a starry theme!

I attempted to do a striped, blended sort of background to the image as she was sitting on some space rocks and then added a star with the Scorpio symbol over the frame. I then added the qualities labels round the edge separately as I did the banner. Everything is covered with a fine layer of Crystal Clear Sparkle Pen from Spectrum Noir as well, which gives a little shimmer to everything, but I'm not sure that picked up in the photos.

Recipe:

Stamps: VIP Chibi Scorpio from Scrapper's Delights

Papers: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay & Retro Fresh DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty, Back to Basics II Patterned Papers from Dovecraft
