Scene It Sunday #35 Featuring Gnome Set from Paper Nest Dolls

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all doing well in these strange times! for today's Scene It Sunday card, I decided to use my Gnome Set from Paper Nest Dolls and added various images from the set to make this cute card. LeAnn's World 101 Inspiration Post

Good morning and welcome to my DT inspiration post for LeAnn's World 101. My post is a couple of days early this month as it usually goes out on the 29th of every month, but seeing as February doesn't have a 29th this year and I have other scheduled posts for the 27 and 28th, I thought I would post it today instead!

For my card, I have used the adorable Azalea and used some of my older patterned papers from Stampin' Up for the colour combo. I absolutely loved these papers when I got them, but they are long retired as are the colours in them! Shame as Purely Pomegranate (the pinky-purple colour in the flowers) was oneof my favourite colours back then!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Azalea from LeAnn's World 101, Half & Half from Papertrey Ink

Papers: Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip (Retired) & Berry Bliss DSP (Retired) all from Stampin' Up, Make It colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

The Paper Shelter Challenge #458 Clean and Simple (CAS)

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is CAS or Clean and Simple. I have a really hard time doing this type of card as I always want to add more to it. I don't like lots of white space on my cards, so mine is not really CAS but just less layered and less embellished than usual.

I used the adorable Unusual Friends for my card and used a stencil to create the background paper. As I wanted the different elements of the stencil in different colours, I covered up the parts in washi tape before stencilling one image then moved the tape to do the next and so on. It took a while to do but I love the effect of it. Will have to try this again with some of my other stencils.

Recipe:

Stamps: Unusual Friends from The Paper Shelter, Cat-itude from Newton's Nook Designs

Papers: Highland Heather & Smoky Slate both from Stampin' Up, Ultimate Graphic Paper, Make It colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Highland Heather, Smoky Slate & Basic Gray all from Stampin' Up, Copic Markers

Accessories: Gray Granite Ribbon from Stampin' Up, Purr-fect Stencil from Newton's Nook Designs

As always there are some fantastic prizes to be won!

Scene It Sunday #34 Featuring Special Delivery by Lawn Fawn (and many others!)

Good morning and welcome to this week's Scene It Sunday post! I bought the Special Delivery set from Lawn Fawn a little bit after it came out with the intention on using it to make a Valentine's Day card for my other half, but then used something completely different on his card. As I had stamped and coloured all these images, it seemed a shame not to use them anyway as they are not just for Valentine's.

I stamped, coloured and cut various animals from 6 different Lawn Fawn sets and created a cute scene of the owl delivering the post to all the critters living in the woods! I think it came out super cute! I added some die cut grass, the Lift-The-Flap trees and used a clouds die for the leaves of the trees.

Something Else on Saturday #93 Featuring Wishful Thinking by Clearly Besotted

Good evening and happy Saturday! Welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post, although I am very late in the day writing this post! It's been half term from school this week, so I have had a really chilled, relaxing week doing lots of colouring, but not much making of anything. I caught up on a couple of my old colouring classes, sorted out which images I need to print to finish all the others off (I have tons and tons to do!)

Anyway...onto today's card using one of my new stamp sets and my free gift of the stencil from Clearly Besotted. I love these cute animals blowing and flying with the dandelions. The stencil was just calling for me to make a sunset card so I used my Distress Oxide inks to add this simple background, but it looks so effective!

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Wishful Thinking from Clearly Besotted

Papers: Melon Melody & Basic Black both from Stampin' Up, Ultimate Graphic Paper, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Inks: Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade & Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks from Tim Holtz, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers

Scene It Sunday #33 Featuring Splash Seasong from Sweet November Stamps

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! I haven't made a Valentine's card for today, but I have made a card using one of my favourite themes - mermaids! I haven't done a mermaid card for ages!

This cutie is Splash Seasong from Sweet November Stamps and I have had her coloured up for ages, probably since last summer, but I only managed to get her on a card during my crafting session last Sunday ready for this week's post! I have tons of images like that, which have been coloured but I haven't had time to make them into anything! The sentiment came from a clear stamp set also from Sweet November Stamps.

This card is for
As You Like It Challenge Rubber, Clear or Digi? (I prefer digi images to colour and resize to fit my project, but clear stamps for sentiments as I can then match my ink colours to my card or patterned papers.

Recipe:

Stamps: Splash Seasong (Digi) & Merwees Set #1 (Clear) both from Sweet November Stamps

Papers: Bermuda Bay & Coastal Cabana both from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R30, R20

Something Else on Saturday #92 Featuring Smitten Kitten by Time For Tea Designs

Good morning and welcome to this week's Something Else on Saturday post! As it is Valentine's day tomorrow, I thought I would share another card full of love. I made this one, not as a Valentine's card (I only give one to my boyfriend as sending to friends is not really a done thing here in the UK), but as a happy chocolate day card instead, so it could be sent with a box of chocolates!

I used the new Lots of Love Slimline Die and the Smitten Kitten stamp set (again!) both from Time For Tea Designs. I just love cats and chocolate, so this set was perfect for me! Haven't had a box of chocolates since Christmas though so hoping I get a little box tomorrow!

I cut out the Lots of Love die in white first, then partially in Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette and Poppy Parade to add the other hearts into the cut outs to make the patterned paper design. It took a while to put together but I love the effect of it! I then measured it and cut out my matting layer and card base, working backwards for a change as I don't have any card bases that fit this size die. The DL sized card we have in the UK are too short!

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. Our challenge this week is called Decorate It so we would love to see some decorations or embellishments on your projects.

Scene It Sunday #32 Featuring Smitten Kitten from Time For Tea Designs

Good afternoon! My post is late for today's Scene It Sunday as I forgot to write it! But it's here at last! For today's post, I am sharing a sweet little Valentine's card that I made for my boyfriend for next weekend using my new sets from Time For Tea Designs. The main image is all from the Smitten Kitten set and the hearts on the patterned paper are all from the Happy Mail Critters set. I made my own patterned paper as I knew I wouldn't have any in the right colours to match the colours in the scene.

I wanted a softer more romantic coloured sky so went for lots of pinks, peaches and yellows and even though it doesn't really look like a sunset, it is just what I wanted!

This card is for

Something Else on Saturday #91 Featuring Donut Worry by Lawn Fawn

Good morning and happy Saturday! Today's Something Else on Saturday post is all about the donuts (or doughnuts if you want to spell it the British way). I love doughnuts, especially Krispy Kreme's Lotus Biscoff ones, but being on a huge diet, I have to avoid them otherwise once I start I won't stop!

I made this fun, quick card using the Donut Worry set from Lawn Fawn and randomly stamped the donuts all over to make the background and then added a single donut and the sentiment on foam tape.

This card is for

Recipe:

Stamps: Donut Worry from Lawn Fawn

Papers: Rococo Rose & Chocolate Chip (Both Retired) both from Stampin' Up, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's All Things Magical and Mythical post. I haven't used a Faery Ink image for ages so...
