The Paper Shelter Challenge #476 Going Dotty

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is called "Going Dotty", so we would love to see dotty papers and dotty colouring on your project. I love dots and wear dotty clothes constantly - dress, skirts, tops, shoes, hairbands - you name it I wear it. I even bought some new tights last week that have dots on them! Just can't get enough of them, so this challenge is just perfect for my love of all things dotty!

I used the gorgeous Sweet Amy for this card and had to give her a dotty skirt on her dress! I pulled out my Pop of Pink papers from Stampin' Up as I knew that pack had lots of dotty papers in and used several of them along with some dotty ribbon and dotty alphabet dies too.

Stampers Delights June Chibi Release

Good evening once more and welcome to the second of my new release posts for Stampers Delights. Today's project uses the adorable Chibi Smile stamp set. I do love that you can buy these in both digi and clear stamp versions. For me I love having the clear stamps to be able to make my own background papers with the accessories stamps that come in each set.

I went with a favourite colour combo of mine for this card - pink, yellow and light brown. I made some background paper using my Distress Oxide inks and then added lots of the musical notes and treble clefs all over before adding some dots of Crystal Drops from Nuvo too.

I have also taken some more photos of my step by step colouring, which you can find over on the Stampers Delights blogpost here.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #474 Digital Image

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This week our challenge is a nice and easy one - use a digital image. You can use sentiments that are not digital, but the main image should be a digital one. If you don't have any or want a new one why not head on over the The Paper Shelter store and check out the recently new released images.

I chose to use the adorable Cancer image for my card, as that is my star sign and went for a bright orange with kraft colour combo. Not a colour scheme I would usually use, but it came out really well, I think.

Recipe:

Papers: Pumpkin Pie & Crumb Cake both from Stampin' Up, Let's Be Mermaids Patterned Papers from Echo Park, Make It Colour Blending Card from Make It Crafty

Scene It Sunday #47 Featuring Argi, Intellectual Fairy from Las Cajitas de Elvi (Elvi's Boxes)

Good morning and happy Sunday! I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine, if it has been sunny where you are. Here in the UK, we have definitely hit the start of our summertime now at long last! Anyway, for my Scene It Sunday post today, I have actually done my first class in Sandy Alnock's Copic Enchantment course. I have been a bit hesitant about doing these classes for no reason other than I didn't think I would be any good at them, but bit the bullet and jumped it and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it, even though almost every colour went sticky or ran out! I definitely need to make sure that my pens are full and clean before starting the next one!

Before starting the scene I coloured this cute reading fairy I found on Etsy and will definitely be going back to buy a few more as there's loads of cute image in this store. I did colour her hair wrong though (I think she is supposed to have leaves in it, but I liked this colour and didn't want to start again, so she's got dyed pink leaves to match her hair colour now!)

I added a couple of little sentiments form Clearly Besotted as I wanted to make it look like she was reading her way through a forest on an adventure to a different realm!

This card is for

LeAnn's World 101 Challenge #39 Anything Goes

Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from LeAnn's World 101. Good morning and welcome to my DT post for the new challenge from The Paper Shelter. This is a very exciting challenge for me as I have taken over from Marie as the team leader as Marie has decided to step down.
